Nice going Darryl buddy. I think if you get a deben dimmer switch you will double your bag mate. Si

Hi everyone, This squizzer thought that he could sneak onto my garden and steal some of my bird food. What he didn’t realise though is that the Chinese TS45 springer was laid on my sons bed “unloaded of course†waiting for him and his pals. The after shot video of him makes him look a little ragged and wet but that’s due to my patterdale terrier Zini got to him before I had time to reset the video camera in the right position to video the after shot footage . Shay (Venomviper) I hope that Brendan enjoys seeing his old rifle put to good use again and staring in the DVD

Spring rifle after shot clips and 2 squirrel kills with the HW100KT
zini replied to zini's topic in Airgun Hunting
Cheers guys, I love a springer. The new HW97KT is a beauty and at the top of my list. My next DVD which im going to start on my next leave is only going to be shot with spring air rifles. All PCP's are going to be banned in it. I'm calling it Spring Rifle Vermin Control Hi Richard pal, Yes the rifle would be ideal for garden plinking, but used correctly and at the correct range 25 - 30 metres its a pretty handy vermin rifle buddy, as long as your shot placement is correct and in the brain or heart. Si -
LOL No worries pal Si

That’s funny lee but I have to agree with you buddy, it’s true what you say. I’m sure that they have a corvid training Regiment where they learn to work as a small unit of soldier corvids, some on watch while some eat etc. Some of the best static hunting that I have ever done is when I’m all camo-ed up, face and hands as well and sat under a roosting tree at dusk waiting for them to land. Shoot 1 and they start a corvid mass argument screaming at their fallen comrade on the floor wondering what’s going on. I’ve managed to shoot 10 corvids straight after each other w

Yeah no problems Bill mate , I think you were talking on frequency 1 and i was recieving on frequency 2 LOL. Sorry buddy, my fault for being a wally Si

Good to see that the Tasco is still working for you well Darryl buddy. 40 metres shots are really good pal especially at night Si
-
LOL Sweeney . Thats it boys lets give it to Gary LOL. No seriously Gary all the best tonight mate Im tempted to have a walk around the woods at the back of my house with the lamp and TS45. Si
-
Good point Sweeney mate, i see where you are coming from buddy Anyone buying a second hand R10 really should ask for the serial number first and give BSA a call to ensure that the gun is upgraded or they could be getting sold a mark 1 and encounter problem with it later on. When buying from a gun shop i would also ask to ensure that the rifle is the mark 2 and that its not old stock that they have not yet sent back to BSA to be upgraded. Si
-
Good shooting Darryl buddy, Gary is obviously starting to slip . Thats what happens when you move from .22 calibre to the dark side Well if that hasnt started a competition between you both nothing will LOL All the best Si

Hi everyone, Here is a bit of footage from today with the HW100KT, and from the other day when I was out a couple of times walking the dog on one day with the Chinese TS45 springer that was donated by Shay and Brendan his son (Venom Viper). The 2 squizzers were humanely dispatched today in my garden with the Weihrauch. The other quarry was shot with the TS45 when walking my terrier a few days ago. The footage from this will be on the new DVD. Here is the link to the action http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnf5qXvwxJs Si

Id have the Ultra anyday pal . Ive seen it in action for first hand and its deadly pal . You wont be able to improve on its accuracy and it shoots just as good as my Weihrauch HW100 and my BSA R10 . Ive watched Reggaeman from this forum smash rabbits, crows, woodies and squirrels from short ranges to very long ranges with his Ultra easily, saying that Reggaeman is a exceptional shot and makes it look easy . The one thing i would say though is get a different silencer for it as the one that comes with it is rubbish . A Hogan works brilliantly on it and makes it as

Hi Moocher mate, Im glad i have been of help to you pal. as i have already said weather you get the HW100KT or the BSA R10 you wont be disappointed mate as they are both top quality rifles. I paid £599 for my R10 so I think that is a pretty fair price you have been quoted pal. Si

Thanks Andy pal

What Regt was you in pal? Si
-
All the best with the sale Davy pal Im sure than will go really quickly Si
-
Hi Tony, They are not so clever when a 16 grain connects with their skulls Si
-
You know it may work out the best thing Chris if you try some FX in that barrel. Im sure the Ultra barrel and the R10 barrel are the same mate and you know how the R10 likes FX flavour Si
-
Hi Sweeney, If you are refuring to the other post mate you have answered your own question but your point is noted pal . I know they were having good numbers sent back for upgrading and repairs. Here is the news from the gunshop today. Anyone with a faulty mark 1 R10 can send it back to BSA and the problems will be fixed free of charge. Anyone sending their working mark 1 R10 to BSA for a service will automaticially get the upgrade for free. Anyone buying one from a shop now will get a mark 2, (upgraded version). BSA have a brilliant aftercare service. For me

Bunny, I use a Tasco 6-24x50 mil dot scope, FX 16 grain .22 calibre pellets and a SAK silencer. If you want to upgrade the scope i reccommend a Nikko Stirling GameKing 4-12x44 AO mil dot. Dont fall into the trap of buying a Weihrauch silencer for the R10 mate as it doesnt make a ounce of difference and is still as loud as it is with a cheaper (£33) SAK fitted. I oen a HW100KT and have already done that experiment pal. I think its the air valve on the R10 when firing you hear and not the muzzle blast. The R10 doesnt have a filler valve cover mate so what i do with mine t
