    I think the easiest thing to do would be to stop pics from being posted up on the forum of dogs with fresh wounds and with them ragging on dead quarry. I've put a few up in the past but from reading this and thinking about it, why? I've got nothing to prove to anyone and nor should anyone else feel the need to prove themselves to anyone else either.     It's been a difficult season so far, infact probably the worst I've ever had, we've had digs but they've been scarce. Hopefully things will pick up for us and everyone else thats finding it hard to find anything to ground this seaon.

    i didnt dock the bitch but it actualy looks alrite, to tell the truth i cudn care how she looks mate i no it could get some damage but im sure she will be ok If I ever bred a litter I'd make sure they were docked properly, BUT I do tend to agree with you here mate, it's tail doesn't look bad at all.     Hmmm. I think that says rather a lot about you. And not in a good way. The words selfish, self centred and irresponsible spring to mind. No decent dog man worth his salt would contemplate lining an elderly bitch of unknown age ("she must be 8 at least") to produce a first litter.     That f*cking spastic Dappy from N-Dubz. He's a terrible example of what the youth of today have become. He's just completely ridiculous. And that "ASIAN" kid on Eastenders who talks like N-Dubz, I find myself clenching my fist when I look up from what ever I'm reading to see that piece of shit talking the way he does.

I can't believe I forgot all about this old fella!!!! - My mate Pender (who's a member on here) owns him, he's in retirement now but I'm pretty sure he was a mix of the the types that have been mentioned here (Beddy/Greyhound X Collie/Greyhound). I didn't get to see him in his prime and most of what I seen him do was on the lamp, but we had some good days/nights out with him. What a doughnut I can't believe I forgot about him lol.     Thanks for the replies lads. It's main job will be to help along with the Ferreting, but I am also into my terriers so It'd be handy if it would mark live earth's for me. I'll be taking it out lamping every now and then so I am edging more towards a BeddyXGrey maybe?

    What type of lurcher would you consider to be the best ferreting partner? I'm thinking of getting a well bred Beddy X Whippet or a Beddy X Greyhound to come along with me and my lads on our days out ferreting. What would be your suggestions for a ferreting lurcher? Thanks in advance .
