  1. thats brilliant,must have taken some time to put that together. rabbit and chicken are my dogs main source of food, nice high protene levals in both
  2. what do they use for those dimmer switches, i tried a light switch one from the mains but it melted it.
  3. i dont think so i was just playing, it mite not help. They are good fun , and keeps the dogs fit ! im planning on racing my whippet as her brother (little bill) won the bwra chapionships this year (non-ped) so i mite have a chance of doing ok with it.

  5. just had a go with it on the lamp, brilliant to try and get my whippet pup to work out squatters. i will take some little videos to show you tomorrow, the spool does not need to be very big atall it was milles fast enougth just a few flicks of the switch is al it needed. is there any way i can get a speed varible switch in it, im not very good with electrics? if not its fine how it is just a thought. what can i use as pullys/rollers to add corners to the course? i mite just make some up.
  6. thats a very tidy job, kite string i did not think of that, thanks! what did you use for the reel looks very nice! cant wait to get it going i think i have rushed it a bit so mite redo al the framework sometime. in tearms of getting a dog fit, do they help tone up the muscle much if done daily aswell as a walk as this was they main reason for making it?

  8. lol, its getting hold of the motors cheaply and finding an alternative for the spools and a remote switch but they could easily be tidied up a bit.

Just made this lure from an old mini starter motor and some other bits and pieces i had about. used a plastic mig spool im hoping it will be ok. i need to get some thick cable it melted the house hold cable i used. does anyone know what cord i should use and were can i get it from? will i need guides on the ground to keep it straight.

  14. just a quick knife i made from an old plane blade, an some oak i had about, not brilliant but only just to keep in the truck as a spare, keeps a nice edge tho.

  16. looks ok but im sure a lot of people will just make do with a piece of rope or leather belt or somthing simular. but for that price you cant really complain. if you did a deal on 3 or more, because i dont know about other people but im alwase loosing them.

Dont supose anyone has a straight coursing saluki to put over my whippet bitch or even a whippet grey would prefure arab import saluki and no kennel club rubish. im in wiltshire but will travill for the [bANNED TEXT] dog. still not sure wich bitch to breed from the light fawn (mysty) is a lighter build a bit quicker and a touch bigger, but the red fawn (freedome) can out turn her. the red fawn is 19" the light is aboyt 19" 3/4 - 20" what sort of size do you thinkl they would make? i dont want anything to big. old pic now i will take more
  18. have made a knife from a kit, but i now want to make my own handle does anyone know of any laminated carbon steel blades for a resonable price that can be vouched for? i hate stainless cant ever get a decent lasting edge on it. i was looking at the brusletto ones but not sure what they are like.

  21. im new to the game and looking to get a longnet, how does a drop net work it sounds complicated to me are there any sites that explain it? are the results much better than just setting the net up quietly in front of the feeding rabbits? and will a 50 yard net be enougth to get started? sorry about all the questions lol

  25. i used to use one like that just with a purse net ring to make it more smothe, now i just use a bit of rope throug the D ring on the collar
