  1. don get too cumfy with it, it is posable to use that buddy bottle up lolol... a simple squirrel carnage day and yu kneck'll hurt at the end of it. nice guns... (delrin hammer pip in it..unless you know of a quieter way )
  2. i must be doing something rong, after a hot spell theres not much left, and what is left dont forget within months.. lamping i've foud best to not let them get used to you so not to many visits in the first place, doing flash visits seems best, 6 weeks apart seems to help a lot, 3 nights on the trot is like leaveit even longer. i suspect a lot depends on where and who else is a mooching about to, born to it, they grow wiser young who in turn get better and used to it almost instantly.
  3. i didnt buy the scope from them along with the gun.. 160 odd more from them andwas told 'ohh nothing rong' because the scope would zero, all the way in on the horizontal there fore tecnocaly it works... but... if i'd have bought the scope from them they would have sorted it. (that and a wandering barrel or something with three diferent scopes that worked on two other guns ak..) basically i was hitting the edge of a ten pence peace benched at 50 meters 3 or 4 out of 5 then the the scope needed a few clicks, then a few clicks back... wasnt the scope, happened with the other 2 too.. my di
  4. had a similar years ago, turned up at dusc, was ant enough time (after the drive up there) to go see the bloke before we went on, had a quick 40 mins then back home, went up the following week, turns out 5 police cars were razzing around looking for us... eeeeee.
  5. them 4x20's are ermm..fun to lamp with lol. ok like when you can find the target lol. fond memories of ratting with a halfords 6v torch held under the gun, eee it was a pain lol.
  6. got to get the sales up to improve it basicaly, same as most things.
  7. had a weird one with them with an X2, they likes yu or they dont.
  8. spingers will shoot past 30 yards... with practice, sat with a chap with a HW doing 20p groups at 50meters in a serious wind n rain.... used to do it my self with an HW80 donkies years ago. a pcp is much more cosey for want of words though, and 'easier' to use, the second you get into hunting you'll be after a magazine for multishots. i will say the estra cost of a pcp is worth it. AAs200's area basic model but very accurate., falcons are nifty 40 yarders, daystates are accurate if you dont get the brunt of the manufcturers, HW1OO, how can yu miss? lol. rapids, 300 shots, then theres

  10. any of you guys have any exsperience with exstended weaver rails for the rapids? found one guy on the net for 35 40 quid a rail but theyre quite hi really.
  11. i always shot free standing years back, right up till i was out of practice, its a hands on thing, a simple way of thinking about it is, if you can hit stood anything else is a plus... serves a coule purpses, first is if your getting regular shooting it builds your arms a little bit, gets you used to holding and moving the gun around, verses a cumfy bench and bi pod... left sat on the table you visit and barely touch the thing. (although it is a disiplin in its own right). so its developing a grip basically, takes time to grow your mind and mustle co-ordination. (you use the skill or lose
  12. think theres a fine line here, if your shoot is next to any where with people it probably a good idia to nip in the local stasion and have a chat, i.e. the golf course on the housing estate? the second a torch goes on on my local theres neighbours out and ringing.. in the middle of no where where you unlikely to see even the farmer...fffff no real nead is there?
  13. many folks havent needed car insurence, alas..life being so rosey... some found they did. besides it isnt really for your benifit as such.. is for the other person that met any misfortune if you know what i mean, way to late trying to exsplain how you neva needed it before then.. horse has bolted.
  14. ...............This is a problem I am having some scopes I have work better than others .At the moment I got an ok picture with a blury cross hair a blend of the two setting you discribe.I will try to get it better I have not messed with my object lense on the scope yet .The picture in the scope and the blury cross hair are still as good as a gen1 night scope or better with plenty of ir light.I focus my camera to about one and a half feet then I put it about two inches from the object lense .the scopes with thick crosshairs and low magnification seem the best so far.I also take a lot or the co
  15. sheeesh go with the flow doood...she wont moan at any little spares n extra's that 'we need', give her a month then get out some NV! hahaha.
  16. why? ripped off and a luvly after sales service that rhymes with f.e.ckoffsky? reallly bad firm, bar the odd sale or being so desperate you dont care. their moto should be ''why pay less for more..when you could pay more for less'' the local branch has this help desk, it's purpose is to shift what ever theyre 'pushing' this week, cid, joe or mindy will be in on wednesday, they know alla about it.. go in on wednesday and oh you missed them yesterdat, tomorrow or what ever day you wernt in.. next is, employee;s will disapeer if caught helping truthfully... but only 6 peopke on the trot

    Help

lol, guns fubarred, i'll give you 50 for it? hehe jokin! twist the scope tube in the mounts, 'its cant' sprit leval or plumb bob infront of the gun, put a little spiritleval on the gun set on cushons or whatever, mounts loose enought to turn the scope ...line up the cross hairs.
  19. just tried two cree ones with an IR filter and a board cam, .01 lux.. 100 lums is better at 3 feet, 300 lums gave a dwindly lamp shade a visable apearence an 9 feet....
  20. my earlier tests (about 10 year odd ago) showed LED's were pap with IR filters on. but.. that was then and CREE's are now lol. (i'll try it out when i find the filters). there has to be a part of the light spectrum with IR wave legnth in it, most of the earlier stuff was a pure 600k light or what ever, i.e. only one wave legnth, and non of the 850 Nm part. (the filter blocks all other, not converts it into).
  21. king ratty is better... but 30 yards is pushing it on pidgions..way pushing it. look on the net there may still be conversions for them with the old soda streem bottles... if the police are 'after' you, dont take it to bits, some dood got dun (but in relasion to a drugs bust or summut) because once the the stocks off they classed it as a pistol therefore over the limit. the AA s410 effert that broke down into a smaller square bag had asimilar hassle in the bigining, but now they wont work at full rifle power with the stock off...
  22. a tip.. best use for cheap lasers like the 5-10 quiders (which btw are very similar to some 50-100 quid gun shop ones..euwww) is to put it right up by the silencer, on the side if needs be, zero it on the sight ret (without fireing a shot) and zero the laser some where beween 15-18 ish yards, (chairgun will put you very close) and you'll be on a rats head from a couple yars out to about 20 where the dot starts getting too big to judge. preferable get a three button cell one, take out one cell and put a small spring or summut inbetween the other two for use with night vision, it blairs
  23. how do you mean 10in of the scope? If you zero your laser with your scope at say 25 yards .At 15 and 30 yards say the laser will not be at the zero point when looking through the scope .If the laser is under the barrel say, at 15 yards the laser will apear under the zero piont at 30 yards it will apear above the zero piont. The bigger the gap between the scope and the laser the bigger the difference between the scopes zero and the position of the laser when viewed at different ranges. yup.. to close to the scope and it looks like about 15 yards is on one point.. and, the bigger th
