  1. Norfolk!! Hands Down No Contest . It has It All And Much More............ Jasper
  2. If I do fresh eggs I weigh them down so my success rate varies but not too bad! although I had a tragedy last year when the power was off for a good 6 hours through the night . If I Incubate eggs thats had some natural Incubation then I can confidently say its in the high 90's%. Just a few days of good natural Incubation and they seem to come out like shelling peas. the problem is if I am pulling eggs off a bird to say 8 - 10 then the first few eggs need to go somewhere and end up in the Inc or if possible a foster birds to sit them..... I used Brinsea Oct 20's in the past and they was fi
  3. Surley profiles and Blogs are there to be looked at and perhaps comment on? I can't see the problem in that. I'm sure people just click on mine to see that bird with her arse in the air showing all her glory and the hot chicks and birds standing for hot sex on the Blog, or perhaps its just the Gay content of Semen extraction ... 4. Many thanks all for the replies which I'll pass on .. Its a nightmare situation he is having to face! he's made that place into a outstanding small holding. the work he put into it since he has been there to get it to this stage can never be replaced.... What gets me is I can understand if someone buys up some land and stick a bloody great block of flats up or something thats not inkeeping to the rest of the area!! but this guy is tucked away from everyone, you would never know he was there unless you flew over the place! he's kept himself to himself and gets on very well with the land
  5. RIOHH is spot on and said it all realy . the only thing perhaps I might add is if you make a bird/birds comfortable in its environment! and the nest ledges and materials are all there positioned to stimulate a young pairing then you will have more of a chance with young stock. I have seen a few aviaries that you would never beleive birds would breed in but they do! then again if you lay the foundations down in the aviary that are apealing and secure to the pair of birds you place in there then you will have a higher success rate.... do your homework and groundwork if you are planing on
  6. Nice one Al for the info . I feel for the guy as he hammered all his hard worked savings into buying the land and having a borehole dug out with a pump, electricity, woodburner ETC. He is virtualy self sufficient growing his veg and livestock too, he only needs to go out and buy the bare essentials to see him through.... I'll pass on the info to him! he was in a bit of shock the last time I spoke to him, he's a good lad who keeps himself to himself and bothers no one, Unfortunately in the end someone felt the need to report him for staying there .... cheers Jasp
  7. A pal of mine just over 3 years ago brought himself 6 acres of agrigultural land way in the middle of nowhere for houseing his livestock. the only way to get to this place is by a small farm track! you would never know the place was there unless anyone drives down the track.... since buying this land he then set himself up a small dwelling/cabin backing onto a small hawthorn hedge, also had a borehole dug for his water supply and electricity, his has livestock and Birds Of Prey housed on the land which has meant he needed to be on site and basically live there for security reasons, for jus
  8. I picked up a couple off Ebay sime and they're a nightmare for fireing off when any other dogs bark close by. I stripped one out and it has a small hole at the front which picks up the sound! I can clap hands near it and it fires up giving a shock, not ideal for the poor dog Jasp
  9. Now there's a gun Malt . I'll have to start saving my pennies!! or perhaps if I'm lucky the wife might just be able to break the bank and get me one for xmas ... Jasper
  10. I once had a SMK and stuck a GAT pistol spring inside the main spring <Dual Concentric>. it instantly went way over the limit to 150ft/lbs ... Took it out pigeon shooting and there was a puff of feathers after it blew it to bits! the next shot I missed and felled a tree with it! I realigned the scope and sqeezed the trigger and BOOOOOOM!! the gun disintergrated in my very hands!! I tell ye I was lucky to be alive ..... My next project is to sqeeze 500ft/lbs From a GAT Pistol Oh Yeah!! and then I woke up Jasper
  11. Its funny as I was talking a good while ago to a guy with a fixed choke game gun <Cylinder and Improved> He mentioned to me if he wants to fill his pattern he'll go up a couple of loads to say a 32 or 34 Gram and perhaps down a shot size to put more pellets in the circle... Jasper
  12. Can anyone remember this one when the Ditch Shitter ran his own personal test on BUTTER vs MARGARINE .... Jasper Butter Vs Margarine
  13. there'll probably be a good few disagree with this but I virtualy used 1/4 and 1/2 for everything! the only time I changed my chokes was when I was asked out skeet shooting .... Jasper
  14. My missus stuffs the vibrateing collar down her knickers and stands ringing the door bell to encourage the dogs to bark .... Jasper
  15. Couldn't tell you mate!! these one's worked off the dogs bark pitch. if another dog barked next to it without a collar the poor f****r with the collar got the shock.........
  16. Not by my experience derbylad! I had 2 which give a audible signal first followed by a mild shock, if the dog keeps barking it gets a slightly stronger shock... the thing is if another dog starts to bark then the poor dog with the collar on gets the wack . both seemed to work better with the terriers than the Brittany I have here, the Brittany has always been a yappy dog and could bark clean through the shocks until the batteries ran out. thats the other thing I found with these! if the bateries are a bit low it hardly has any effect on the dog....... Jasper
  17. Nice one NG. I think the peregrine footage is one of the few experiments the lad Lloyd Buck has tried with his Peregrine for the TV, I can't remember seeing the Gos footage before but then again I can't remember what I did last week .... Jasp
  18. Nice pictures Dawn ... Jasp
  19. It seems there is good and bad in all walks of life, I can't tar all the police with the same brush as for once when they apeared at my driveway a month or so ago I can Honestly say afterwards I was glad to see them.... To cut a long story short My 10 year old Daughter had been on a Internet website where they can chat to other kids and play games, It turns out she had placed some posts in a chat section saying she wanted to take her own life and if she could get a knife would cut her wrists . Thankfully a concerned moderator picked up on this on the site and reported the post!! the police
  20. Shocking!! Certainly not what you expect from people employed by the state to upheld the Law ... It would be handy to film everything that goes on camera phone or whatever, Includeing numbers faces the lot should it be needed later..... Freedom of speech and civil rights are all going down the swany in this country! its more like Commy Russia used to be every day........
  21. God I havn't seen one of them for a few years! a mate of mine had one of these in the late 70's, I remember is going off with a hell of a Twang ..... There used to be a couple of airgun spares places Knibbs and Chambers, I'm not sure if they are still going? cheers Jasper
  22. Nice one Adam . its a good refreshing change to see a Redtail out and about doing the business.... I love the Redtails and the way they crash into any cover to secure a kill! sometimes they seem suicidal in their head long crash into cover but what a joy to fly on their day, I'm sure you'll also be Impressed at the length of slips he will take on with some fitness and experience......... All the best with him Adam Jasper
  23. Nice one Butler! you're a top man mate . All 11 eggs was fertile but I only managed 8 out in the incubator . I stuck them in fresh and One stopped earley and the other two was breached and never pipped.... All the good one's pipped at 22 and started rolling out a day later... thanks again! hopefully get to see you sometime in the season Jasper
  24. Rumor Has It His Turds Often Have Dents In The Ends........

  25. I hope so mate . the wife brought me the Guitar a few years back with a 50Watt Amp after I disalusioned myself I could be the next Angus Young , I kept at it for a good week and managed a small ditty "Smoke On Water" but that was about it! everytime I picked the guitar up everyone left the room so I finaly took the hint and gave it to my lad who played it endlessly back then. Its funny how as parents we forget how we was when we was young! He now thinks I'm moaning at him with just the slightest mention of the Guitar, I was exactly the same with my old man or woman back then....... Jas
