Alot of it is down to the bird Noisy! some take to the Black stuff like a duck to water and some have to be made. I know a old falconer who took many Rooks/Crows with a Lugger, also one of the main birds used on them before the Hybrid craze was a Pure Peregrine which got the job done in style..... I have never flown a Peregrine at crows but have flown a Male Gyr/Saker, Female Pere/Saker and a couple of Female Pere/Prairies. If I had to make a choice from the birds that rocked my boat it would be the Peregrine/Prairie's! I liked their style and comitment aswel as their sheer aggresion towar

was they 100% clear BB? If they was Rank then normaly it means they was fertile! clear eggs won't start beaking down as quick as fertile eggs that have stopped...... The male is a good age mate and more than man enough to get the job done! did you split the feed pattern up through the day to keep the courtship active? some bond naturaly quick but some will need encouragement. Upping the diet on the pair prior to breeding will also help to bring them into condition, disturbance and nest ledges are another to take into account! Believe it or not I'm the only person my lad will allow to cut his Hair. its nothing special just a quick blast with the clippers with a couple of different size combs and bingo its done .... He's now asked me if I can do some Tramlines in his hair in the shape of Lightning which has now gone beyond my abilities , a couple of his mates have different home made designes but I know if I make a mess of it he'll be seriously pissed off! he's at the age where he thinks he's a pulling machine and his hair is everything ...... any advice or pictures to copy would be much apreciated Cheer

They was total shite! I watched it until the goal went in and from then on it was obviouse, what a time to have a blip like they did 3/4's of the way through the season and let Benitez's pretenders catch up , Its still good we didn't finish with nothing this year .... The whole team looked nervouse through out like the first game against Porto. Hey Hoo never mind though hey!! it was still nice to win the premiership again and the team world cup ..... Jasp

I saw a method a good while back where a keeper was useing Bantams in small hutches to cover Pheasant eggs! twice a day he lifted them off the nest and attached a harness to a leg so they could eat and drink and take a dump before returning them to the brooding chambers.... This method looks spot on for what I want here! at the moment I have 6 hens in a run which plays havoc with each other, they seem to lay eggs in other birds nests

cracking pictures CC. where's all the years gone mate! I look back and think of the late 70's earley 's when it was all happening and it seems like yesterday..... Over last weeks Bank holiday I saw some lads on their Vespa's heading to Hunstanton! I said to the missus I'm so enviouse but a bit too old in the tooth now I reckon , Stabs offered a lone of his scooter last year and I had it in my head after looking on Ebay at the Vespa's on investing! but with one thing and another cropping up it never happend.... Great times and a great band of brothers! we all stood together back then...

He's looking good. I kept a first clutch tiercel and second clutch bird back 3 years ago and both gave semen on the hat at two! both obviousley had different personalities and both needed different courtship techniques before they finaly mounted the hat, one is very confident and litteraly hits the hat when entering the aviary and the other has to go through the same ritual each time before he will perform, neither was flown...... With all these Donor birds some are far more willing than others. I know a guy with 5 semen donor Goshawks yet only two are star performers and the other 3 as go

With all respect I can't see the point of having a Real Tree Hawking vest . I want to stay visable to the Hawk/Falcon! the last thing I want to do is camoflage myself and look like a walking tree with a branch and falconry glove attached to the end ...... Jasper

I know what you are saying ESS and this is just a opinion. Most people are that sick of the way this country has dropped deeper and deeper in the shit and been taken over by imigrants, the way this government has handled the imigration situation its no wonder people want to vote for the BNP. When I move later this year I'm hopeing to knock up either a few Arc's or a decent size couple of coops. can anyone give me a few building guidelines or perhaps some pic's of their set up ..... I'm looking to knock one pen up to house some Silkies mainly for covering eggs for me, this pen I'm hopeing will contain at least 4 seperate nest box's for the Silkie broodies. the other coop will be to house the Leghorns layers for the table.....
