  1. I think I much prefered you in the cammo fishnets mate, mind you I can imagine them getting plucked to buggery running through the brambles..... Jasp
  2. that was the man mate... I don't think I would have to chase sean that far before either one of his high heels got stuck in the mud or he just gives up early hopeing I'll catch him cheers Jasp
  3. Blimey Sean!! we'll have to go lamping one night so I can chase you round the woods..... Jasp
  4. spot on Sparky!! no doubt about it pal the gun liked them even better than the JSB's and Daystates I originaly used . I'm useing Bisley Mags at the moment but boy do you have to give them some holdover compared to the JSB's! one thing when they hit em they stay hit , I don;t suppose you have tried them Defiant pellet? they sound good but seem pretty light at 7.4 Grains.... Give me a bell when you get 5 mins cheers Jasp
  5. I didn't want to say anything mate.............. Here's another song birds nest saved from a tree rat... this one died pretty instant, my lad popped him out of the drey with a nice placed .22 Pellet from a old Webley Vulcan and he was off running through the canopy of the trees, my lad kept underneath him stopping him from going to ground until he paused for a second or two 3/4's the way up a fir tree, I have to admit I'm pleased with this one as the Pellet struck him virtually between the eyes and pole drived through his cranium and way into his neck and shoulders... Jasp
  6. there is a difference!! the Falklands is our anyway so we have a right to defend it, if the Yanks decided to invade our country then its no different than when Iraq invaded Kuwait which was considered a invasion of Hostile forces... I suppose the simple answer is if they did we'll just have to kick their arse into touch ..........
  7. One of the best Rabbit decoys is a Carrot field... Never fails to bring them out ..... I have seen some pFalconers use Radio Controlled Bunnies for the Hawks to chase at displays!! could be a interesting one if the ground was smooth enough unless you had a 4x4 Off Road Bunny ....... Jasper
  8. Moved.... try and put them in the right sections lads, its not a big problem for any Mods but saves alot of messing .... Jasp
  9. Yep you're right mate Bob Crease knocked a few out some years ago. I can't see the point in a ferrutail when you consider a Redtail will do pretty much everything a Ferrutail will and perhaps more.... Don't get me wrong they'll obviously do the business in the field but then all Hawks and Falcons Kill for a living, its up to the Falconer to get the best out of any BOP and provide the quarry to suit the species... I have no idea lads what its worth but it looks a tad Imprinted to me with plenty of aggresion on show! I could be wrong but the postering pretty much says it all to put me of
  10. Its nice to now you can depend on the Yanks to stand in your corner like we did with Bush in Iraq .. it kiils me how the brain dead X president of the USA managed to convince our then f****n Nugget of a Prime Minister that Iraq was a threat carrying weapons of Of Mass Distruction, the best bit is we went to War on that strength in support for the Yanks when most countries in Europe apposed it.... So how do they repay us?? Take sides with the Argies.............. if our PM had any backbone he should now pull all our lads out of Afghanastan with Imediate effect, f**k me wouldn't tha
  11. Hello Neil Them MTC scopes are nice pal! the optics seem pretty good and the reticle is spot on, the only thing that is bothering me is the Windage adjustment on this one is alot tighter than the elevation, its hard to feel the click with with any adjustment... The gun is shooting spot on pal, had a little problem when the shroud came loose but re-tapped it out to 2mm and stuck a couple of new grubs in it and its now going nowhere, there a few I have been reading had the same problems with the Wolfs too, for some reason Daystate stuck 1/8 AF Grubs to hold it in place, its now taped out
  12. Yep you're right mate!! my mistake ... I meant you lot aswel ..........
  13. Its under Enlish Sovereignty! which means it belongs to us. if the end of your land is closer to to my boundary does this mean I can have it then ....... Can't see the Argies doing much but moan! Another kicking would just about finish them off ...... Just found Some History on the Falklands.... Falklands
  14. Will be having a few BBQ this year mate! I'm running 40 Pints of Geordie at the moment and will get some Lager running soon . I enjoy eating some of the Pigeons and had some last Sunday and ate a squirrel a couple of times when we was lads but not since then, although as I remember they're not that bad..... there's some good skins there to make some decent size Willy warmers!! I'll save the small squirrel for yours mate ..... Jasp
  15. That be the one Phantom ... "I can't read or write... But I can drive a tractor" ...... Jasp
  16. Sounds like you can have some good sport there Phantom if he changes his mind . this place is at plague proportion! it seems no one has ever thinned them out or controlled them in any way.... I had to move some squirrels and pigeons out of the big freezer earlier into a smaller one to make room for some Day Old Chicks! I have been averaging around 3-4 a week which soon starts to fill the freezer up, all shot from a small copse woodland near the house.... Jasp
  17. Where the Carrot crunchers and Tractor drivers live Phantom , great countryside but full of Wurzels in combines...... Jasp
  18. Nice to know we can always depend on our so called friends to back us up. The Labour government ran round them like lap dogs and this is how they repay us....... Clinton Backs The Argentinians
  19. went for a nice spring walk today with the gun around the local permision but was surprised how quiet it was, hardly any Pigeons coming in and the one's that did was across the other woods, never saw any squirrels until I finally ventured back home. I watched this one climb down the trunk and down onto the floor a good 100 or so Yards away, for once I took my time and tried to put a Tree between me and him for cover, it took me ages to get within range without making to much noise but I finaly got there! once settled I thought he'll come into view soon for a shot but nope I waited and waited a
  20. Looks like you got some good sport there Gary!! cracking shooting Pal . Its typical you live so far as I'm trying to fill my freezer up with as many Pigeons as possible for the Falcons, they always seem to do better in the breeding season when they're on Pigeon!! its like Rocket fuel to them..... I just gave a guy in the area 75 = 12 gauge steel shot cartiridges to get me some pigeons!! it worked out a bit expensive as he ended up with 7, and I thought I was a bad shot ..... Its a shame I didn't know anyone in the area as I would supply all the Ammo for any Pigeons ETC.... atb
  21. Top Bombing Stealthy Sounds like a cold one in your neck of the woods mate, nice to see Bugs Bunny in the bag pal and the Ferrets getting the rewards ..... atb Jasp
  22. Do you know mate I think you're right. I was out the other day and drew a blank! one squirrel just kept running from tree to tree with me keeping up underneath, he finally paused for a couple of seconds on the branch before he jumped over to one of the Ivy trees waveing his tail, I got the gun mounted and just got on him and the little twat jumped over and was never seen again, I sat quiet for a good 20 mins waiting for him to apear again but nope he was sitting in there pissing himself laughing , they're getting wise to me in this particular wood and just bolt for the ivy now as soon as I'm s
  23. Nice one Phantom . trust me mate I didn't specificly try to hit him under the chin, he climbed a fair way up a large Beech and just layed stareing at me over the top of a branch, the scope was set at x3 as usual so I aimed to hit him somewhere in the swede and own he came, it was only after he was down and out I could see where the pellet entered and where it exited.... I'm sure if a Bunny gave you that angle it would do the same, this Pellets went up through the side of his chin and exited the back of his head, he was Brown bread big time ..... atb Jasp
  24. Nice gun!! a bit on the heavy side due to all the mechanics of the extra metal on the underlever cocking system but a good powerful rifle, some of the earlier one's did leak a bit from the Tap but its cured pretty easy with the proper grease and seal.... They're easy to work on and and easy to mainstain and shoot good and accurate having a fixed Barrel, Personaly I have only ever had the S models in .177 but a pal had a Standard Airsporter many moons ago and didn't miss that much with his .... Jasper
  25. Nice shooting Luke and a good size squirrel . the biggest one's I shot was males with a fair set of Balls on them! most seem to have a fair bit of brown in the grey coat but one I shot was near on pure grey...... Jasp
