  1. Cracking write up Phantom. Sounds like you're having a decent bit of sport Mate....... Jasper
  2. Yest mate had a nice springy whip on the car and sill coloured lights on the grill. the most embarrasing thing was the silly seperate electric siren I blast now and again , I loved it until the police pulled me over and told me to disconect it...... Cheers Jasper
  3. Just out of Interest did his address pop up when you payed him with Paypal? just thought it might be handy sometime to you ......
  4. Ford Escort MK1 in 1981 when I passed me test. kept that for a year and moved onto a smart 2.0GT Cortina!! Loved this one to bits and stuck the crome 8 spokes on it, Window Louvre, Braking Lights in the rear window, a silly Horn and lots of other daft things! the little 13 Inch steering wheel finished it off nicely! But It was still no match for the scooter as a fanny magnet this was a pic before the 8 spokes was fitted Jasp
  5. Norfolk Top Totty.........

  6. Cracking stuff Si some quality shooting and footage there pal! there's always a market for this sort of stuff expecially if you Market it across Europe and perhaps further and not just the UK.... atb Jasp
  7. Nice one lads cheers I managed to knock over a couple more woodies today! one needed Necking after it was hit in the shoulder and the other was a better shot hitting him in the back of the neck... Not sure if any of you lads have had problems with Breach seals on your guns? this one has a small 0 Ring on the Pellet indexer! when I first got the gun it leaked like hell so I replaced it! this 0 Ring is now doing exactly the same .... It sounds stupid but when the gun is left standing over night it leaks worst but after a couple of shots it makes a better seal again? I'm not sure how muc
  8. You're a star Sean . cheers Pal the right up did them justice by the sounds of it! the way I look at it they make good Camera's so the scope optics must be spot on...... atb Jasp
  9. You could knock some flyers up Plod! fill in all the relevent details on how responsible you are and obviously you only want to shoot Vermin and get them sent out to the Landowners, there's been a good few flyers printed up on this site in the past if you can find them, also joining the BASC might help to show you have some cover... I'm a bit lucky as in the past I would contact a landowner asking to fly birds at Rooks/Crows/Pigeons/Rabbits and general Vermin, I would normaly get a favourible response expecially if they come out to see the bird fly the quarry mentioned above, after a while
  10. Nice one stealthy! this guns lethal mate Honest. It takes a couple of shots to settle down after a charge but when its on song it will stick pellet on pellet, I zeroed it onto a small notch on the trunk of a Beech tree and its landing the pellets well within a circle the size of a penny through the 10 shots mag.... I'm more than made up with it stealthy and enjoying my own company again when out with the rifle! Its rekindled a old Hobby and given me another interest away from the birds .... one thing I'm a little disapointed with is the breach seal 0 Ring, it seemed to leak a bit when
  11. Just a few over the last few days when I could get out! the last single Pigeon picture was shot this morning from the landing window! he was sitting eating Ivy Berries behind the aviaries and probably the best shot of the lot for distance! I won't say how far away he was as you won't beleive me , I gave him some hold over and he was hit about half inch under his chin through the neck bone..... Lets just say he was so high up the tree he had snow on his beak and wearing a oxygen mask cheers Jasper
  12. Cheers all for the help . Been doing some homework on scopes within a certain price range but yet to take a look through some first, I have to agree with Wuzzy <although I know nothing about the MTC range of scopes> some different scopes I have looked through in the past had pretty thick recticles which I didn't like one bit!! going back to the Tasco days I had a old World Class job 3.5-10x50 and a pal had a identicle Simmons! to be honest I would have had the Tasco anyday with its better field of view and the nice thin 30/30 recticle compared to the Simmons.... I need to take a
  13. Nice one Bedrock they look a decent scope It makes me laugh as most of the scopes these days I have never heard off!! showing my age mate .... a decent Variable low Mag scope that perhaps drops below X3 would do me fine! all these big magnifications these days for Air Rifles is way over the top in the field, not ony do they magnify the Traget but they also show up and movement in the gun expecially when shooting free hand, I also like the low mag scopes as thet gather more light when needed.... atb Jasper
  14. Yep all sorted Will cheers Topped the gun for the second time today after 160 shots, to be Honest it still hadn't dropped off but I thought f**k it why not and gave it a blast on the bottle .... acounted for another Pigeon but it should have been more but I shot like a Gimp!! My excuse is my fingers was cold ..... cheers Tony
  15. OK Lads... You have £250 burning a hole in your pocket and You're after the best available quality scope for the price!! what would you go for Purely from a Field/Hunting point of view? . personaly I like something that starts with a fairly low variable Mag and go from there..... cheers Jasper
  16. Nice one pal . I won't neglect the poor old Webley Vulcan!! its still got plenty of welly left in that gun compared to alot of stuff nowadays, the guns about 25 years old and a bit bashed up but still shoots sweet, I have a pal who's a bit set in his ways who will only shoot springers who will give it a good work out the times he come down!! I just wish I could get a .177 barrel for it..... By the way!! love the Avitar of Gordon Jasp Cheers mate! I had a couple of Pre charges about 10 years ago, a old webley axsor and a Falcon Raptor, both did the business but the axsor &
  17. Took the gun out Yesterday for a quick Mooch behind the aviaries! Pigeons was getting out of the Ivy all over the place without a decent clear shot. Finally came across one with its back to me out on a branch further up the wood, I gave him some slight holdover and the pellet hit home! It was obviouse this one was hit in the swede by Crack the pellet made when it hit hone compared to a dull thud. It took me ages to find the f*****g thing as by the time I wandered over I forgot what tree it was in , thankfully after about 15 mins and re-tracing my steps I finally found it in the empty Pheasant
  18. Top Bombing lads . true Hunting stories like this is whats its about compared to some of the crap you read on some different forums..... I bopped a single Pigeon today after getting my Bottle finaly charged! I'll get a pic up tomorrow when I get it downloaded off the camera..... Jasp
  19. Yep hope you all had a good one lads!! I know I did Lets hope 2010 is a good one.... Jasp
  20. Nice one Davy I like the look of them scope cams pal! the picture quality looks sharp as a whistle! it'll be interesting when you get out Hunting with it cheers Jasp
  21. Nice one Davy !! a full Bottle would be nice mate. there's a couple of places that fill them near by but both don't open until the new year, I have been given another address a good few miles away to get it filled so it looks like a long trek for me Tomorrow, at the moment I'm only getting 150Bar in the gun...... atb Jasp
  22. I think you're right Stealthy!! the guns Gauge reads the same 150Bar. I should get a few shots out of it but I have just found out the closest place to get the bottle charged won't be opening until the new year, seems like I'll have to get the Old Webley Vulcan Springer out again mate if this runs out ...... Jasp
  23. Cheers all! I'm made up with the gun ...... Just out of interest lads!! I brought a 15 Litre 232Bar Bottle a while back in test! the guy I picked it up from told me it still had plenty of air in it, anyway today I managed to get the high pressure hose for the tank and decided to top the gun up! for some reason it only gets to around 150Bar and stops filling the gun however much I open up the dive tank? .... Is this because theres not enough Air in the tank or is it because its only a 232Bar tank and I should have got a 300 Bar job? any info would be apreciated cheers Jasper
  24. Managed to make contact with a lad today with one of them fandango styrup pumps, after a crippling few hours pumping the f*****g thing up and another half day in traction I got out and zeroed the rifle. the gun zeroed in lovely with Daystate Pellets but I then decided to give it a whurl with some old Eley Wasp pellets my lad uses, Big Mistake!! it shot all over the place .... To cut a long story short I then spent about 1/2 hour in the woods and accounted for one woody, to be Honest it was lethal! for the first 5 mins I spent wacking some pellets in a knot high up on a Beech tree, It consi
  25. Top man Graham , unfortunately I'm in Tractor territory <Norfolk>, Tuesday can't come round quick enough to get a new hose for the bottle, the guns just dropped off now and showing slightly over 100 BAR cheers Jasp
