Never a truer word spoken. mates are mates!! Business partnerships can get messy.....

I know mate . that Navara of yours has been up this neck of the woods without missing a beat on a couple of occasions towing that bloody great Caravan. your's still seems a bit more punchy than mine though mate! I did the filters and oil change on it the other month which seemed to make it run smoother, I havn't worked it out yet but it came managed 184Miles on £28, most of this driving is Urban and around the farms. Just found this link I think some Navara owners will find amuseing , ok alot of it is down to the driver but the Landy looks like something from world war 2 ..... Cheers

Just a couple of pic's put up for Mr Big Stuff of his Nav doing the Business ....

I just had fitted some Cooper ATR discoverer on the Navara and I can't fault them, they grip like shit to a blanket and ideal for towing broken down Landy's , the Hill Billy landy's do get a quick glimpse of them normally when I'm passing them on the bypass ....

I'm thinking alot of the hype about Navs blowing are just scare stories Millet. I know some do just as I have seen other makes of car engines going Pop! but I'm begginging to doubt its just the Navs with a problem! its funny how we always hear about the one's that blow their lid and not about the one's that are well into the mid Hundred thousands and higher . I think any of these motors that gets constantly booted are going to give way in the end, lets face it they pretty well geared down for being a work horse and not a Motor to be thacked about on the Motorway covered in bling by some p

I would love to be one of the Ray Mears type who can walk upto a Fungi and know straight away if its edible or not! I must admit though mate my Judgements pretty dodgy as I poisend myself a few years back while looking for Wood Blewits. God knows what I ate but I spent the next two weeks bed ridden and a temperature through the Roof ... Them chanterelle's are supposed to taste good to I hear! But I would need to take someone out with me who was on the boil before I ate one, the Bolete fungi was pretty nice but a few of them in the pic was a bit gritty......

Nice one mate . the way I reduce the size of Pic's is to Email them to myself! Just right click on the pic and then click: send to! then select: Mail recipient! it then gives you a choice to make the pic's smaller which I do, I then send it to my own addy and save it to a made up folder in: My Pictures, you can then select this pic to upload onto the site, there's probably alot easier way but I'm pretty crap on computers .....

I'm sure the Twat will be shitting himself in his little cell knowing they're queing up for him outside, Lets hope the staff turn a blind eye and let him loose for a while .... There's some little b*****ds around a village near me that walked into a Old mans house the other week and threw eggs at him while he sat in his living room !! The poor old boy only lost his wife last year and sat at home minding his own business and Bang!! in walks some scum and give him hell in his own home..... I spoke to a lad who does the Gardening in the area and he told me people know who the lads are but

Try not to take things to Heart lads . alot of it is Banter and of course constructive Critisism! but there's nothing like a good arguement to clear the air either . I have no problem with Critisism as personally I reckon it can be a good thing. if I'm ever critsised for something and I sat down and thought what they was saying was correct I would have to change things!! expecially if alot more than one person was finding flaws in something I was doing. Having said that if there was a far bigger number in agreement I wouldn't be changing anything .....

Thats fair comment Chris. I have sold a fair few birds abroad in the past and to be honest have no problem with it! I have seen the Hack pens they are loosed into prior to exporting but seldom get feedback on them unless like I said earlier a customer wants one from the same line, This year I had one male left which went abroad due to a let down. the rest went to UK falconers who by all accounts have done well with them. Double clutching is not always done for a financial point of view. its also used to safe guard against losses in the first clutch should there be any, perhaps the first cl

How can you say 100% if you sell a bird its going to be looked after? people use all sorts of disguises to buy birds! if its a friend or a falconer you know fair enough! but what if its a guy across the other side of the country who talks well and comes across on the boil but you know nothing about him, Hell man if you have lived you should know alot of people are not always what they're cracked up to be, I have known my neighbour for 10 years and I think I know him but he could well be a secret cross dresser or Paedo! its no different dealing with scammers who buy birds who put on a face.

Beleive it or not Chaos I get contacted by the person who ships them asking me if I can provide birds again with certain Parent ring numbers because the foreign falconer wants that line again to fly, this proves that no way are these birds just lost in the system. Right then mate lets see if you can come up with the goods? If I breed 15 Harrishawks this year are you going to provide me with 15 genuine falconers from this country who you have personally Vetted to come and buy them ? some how I think not!! also are you telling me that every Falconer is the perfect role model in this country

I know what you're saying Magwitch! the guitar my lad plays was originally brought for me by the missus! I tried and tried to make some decent sounds but just managed to empty the room whenever I picked up the guitar , the lad finally picked it up and played it so its now passed onto him, I'm pleased he sits in and plays rather than go out getting up to mischief....

Gin My lad of 11 plays a Epiphone SG 400 and it has a cracking sound to it mate! he belts out the Green day tracks and some AC/DC numbers and even though he's my son I must say he is a natural, he's had no lessons but can listen to tracks and blast them out within the hour, the latest he banged out in record time was "Teenage Kicks"...

You need to be careful mate as some edible one's look nearly identicle to the Poisenous one's. I was lucky in the past to have a mate who was on the boil with Fungi!! he showed me the safe bets to go for like Wood Blewits and the one's in the picture plus another called Honey Fungus, apart from this I'm well out of my depth .....

All gone now mate! the last male went out of the country which saved advertiseing. I'll be doing it with all of them next season and get shot of them ....

I had that poem sent me a fair while ago and stuck it in my Keep folder! God knows who wrote it but its cracking poem, the guy should have it put into print....

After having a run in with the keeper on one of the Estates over my bird taking Rabbits ! I had a quick wander around the woods and picked some Penny Bun, Bay and Birch Bolete for tea . I recommend them to anyone as they're totaly deliciouse, be careful though as there a Devils Bolete that won't do you much good. I'm pissed off completly with the keeper on this land, I have permision off the land owner but this Prick follows me all over the place, he winding me right up to the stage I will do one of his Pheasants in front of him and square the nancy poofder up, he has a job to do I know bu

I have a bird here which has been diagnosed with Rhinitis/Sinusitis. the advice I had from a Vet in the states was to put the bird on a course of Azithromycin (Zithromax) Antibiotics. I know its a bird I'm talking about but after reading up on the net about this Antibiotic, it seems its the drug of choice for Humans aswel as animals and birds but obviousley in stronger doses. Its used to any upper respitory conditions aswel as throat and nasal infections. another more natural therapy I was adviced to use was Garlic Oil, I never tried it but was told it kills 99% of bacteria's....
