Very Nice mate well done . I wouldn't worry too much about the tail as most Harris tails are Bullet proof! I have had young Harris's come out of the aviary with their tails looking a bit matted but they soon tidy up when they finally bath and a good preen, if not you can soon spray them down.... Cheers Jasper

She's the P/R female you and Molly saw being Reared a few months back! the mother is a Hungarian female belonging to Chris Soans which I banged Finn semen into, if you listen to alot of people they'll tell you that the Hungarian birds are a bit arsey! its fair to say they a bit Foisty but 99% of the time its bollox if you put the time in. the Mother you saw although Imprinted had a lovelly temperament and pretty Gamey! she was well documented taking Hares and plenty of Game around 2lb 3oz's. this female is now at 2lb 6 and no way has hardly any fittness in her so I expect her to go up slightly

The lads definitley not a Anti . I have spoken to him on and off for a good couple of years so give him a break hey ....

Its not the Bunnies I'll be after mate when I get some fitness into her after she had a few Mishaps!! The idea of the post was to show how even a seriousley Unfit Gos can take Rabbits no probs, a nice easy day on the bunnies can be a good crack!! mind you I have seen a couple of pretty shit Imprints flown well over weight that couldn't manage it in the past by lads who like to talk about their birds alot . Don't forget Kevin I live in a place where Gamebirds are on my doorstep and plentyfull so this will be the main quarry, I flew gamebirds hard with Goshawks from the earley 90's so why not a

Gotcha mate I know which one's you mean! The Marigolds can go back in the Bredroom draw again with the KY Jelly ....

I can't skin them mate as I like the crispy skin and fat that comes out of it , I'm also thinking that roasting a skinned Duck/Goose will dry the meat out when in the oven? One method I heard about was pouring boiling water on the bird after plucking! aparantly this opens the pours in the skin and they just about fall out but the skin gets tainted. I like my skin though on any bird when its crisped up in the oven, it keeps the meat moist and full of flavour. Mole Trappers idea sounds like the one to go for , I'll get the pink Marigolds on for the next plucking session . Nice one Cl

Tell me about it Mate! I kept a couple of Young female Finn gos's back from this year for future breeding stock, the pair was kept way out of the way down the Garden away from Disturbance, yet the Nob with loads of money who owns a f*****g great house at the bottom of the woods decided to carry firework night on for a week!! he finally had his last display last Saturday and must have put Thousands of pounds into the air. I went rond to feed the birds sunday morning and one of these young females had fitted on the floor and was in a real bad way and the other had concussed itself in the avi

I think one's not going to ever be 100% mate. It kept fitting constantly every few minutes but the Calcium D3 and Vitamin B1 helped bring her round but she certainly isn't right! f*****g Firworks after bonfire night should be banned ... Cheers Jasper

Took the Gos out and flew her loose again today after her knock back a couple of weeks ago! she was concussed for a good few days after her carrying box was thrown over in the back of the Navara under heavy breaking, I thought I was going to lose her at one point the way she looked but thankfully she has now pulled round and now need some fitness... Having said all that this post is mainly a reminder how easy a Gos even when unfit will deal with Rabbits! she had 4 slips today across good open terrain while ferreting and rolled all 4 over, the last couple of slips I gave a good 30yds law fr

The one's I use are 2" x 2" and came from a Garden Nursery centre!! I'm sure you'll get them from any Garden centre....
-
yep thats the one nightshadow! Focus Do It All or any of the Garden centres will have what you're looking for for less than quarter of the price from a equipment supplier, these are the one's I use in the aviaries for all the birds! I brought in a Hatfull a good few years back for about £3.00 each so each aviary has one....

Never really had much problem Plucking Ducks/Geese but the thick down underneath the feathers is a nightmare! In the past I have plucked a large amount back and burnt the rest off with a blow lamp but does anyone know a easier cleaner simpler method than this please? .... Cheers Jasper

What a cracking bike MC ! it always shocks me when I think of all that BHP being generated to one rear wheel of a Motorbike. in the earley 90's I had a Escort RS Turbo generateing around 132 BHP standard! but when you think of Motorcycles produceing this sort of power its awsome......

Just found this about the Navara on the toyota owners club!! seem like they also have seen sense that the Nav is the best all round pick up .... http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/lof...php/t28650.html

No idea mate how much they are now! it was a guy in Lincolnshire I knew who had one back in about 2001 from Bob Creese.... Tony

I know mate and I for one shit myself about all the scare stories! after reading into it and doing a bit more homework it seems they're not much different the other Motors that blow their top, I think it all comes down to how you drive them and care for them, my Nav D22 has now done 98,000 and still sweet as a nut! I'll hang onto it until there's enough spare cash for a Outlaw. When you look at the figures the Navara comes back with a slightly better MPG, it also has a bit more grunt and the newer Outlaw looks the business compared to the others, it has a real pitbullish look about it.....

Nissan Navara Outlaw would be my choice ....

I knew a guy who had one off Bob Fleece a good few years back!! not my sort of bird from a Falconry point of view I must admit, but it was nice looking and Buzzard like.....

The tories gave people the option to buy their council houses which wasn't a bad thing!! the Labour govenment have now turned the council houses thats left into Houseing association which has ended anyone new from taking on a coucil house with the option of buying... I think you'll find the reason we're all crammed into flats these days is course the uk is now so over populated!! Imigration has now taken away any rights we had as first come first served! legal Imigrants can walk straight in with however many kids and get a place virtually straight away, I think you'll also find they get a

I Blame them totaly for the shite we now live in. we're a disgrace and a embarassment since the twats came into power, to top it off we now have another spineless Labour cretin running the country bringing us down some more..... I hope people have the sense to get them out next time round .....

Bickering, fighting are all parts of the Human make up!! sometimes its a good thing and helps clear the air, Life would be pretty shite if we all agreed with each other. Having said that you can be as nice and genuine as you like with some people but they'll still have a poke! you just can't win them all Frank however much we would like too...... Jasper
