  1. I know what you're saying mate but where I lived couldn't come any more Rural!! I was situated in Walpole x keys right near the lighthouse near Sutton Bridge. we moved there for the peace and quiet but the Pikeys was knicking everything that wasn't bolted down, joy rideing back then was a big part of there evening .....
  2. Nice to see we're taking no shit in Norfolk from the Carrot munchers! Fakenham is about 15 miles from here and has Hunting stamped through it like a stick of Rock .... Jasper
  3. Cheers for the replies Lads but I reckon I have cured it! since I stopped taking the missus anywhere in the motor and letting her walk the fuel consumption has gone up no end , its done wonder for the suspension too ... Seriousley though cheers for the help! I stuck 35 in all the tyres before I read this Millet but have now knocked them down to 32 again as it slid like f**k in the wet. I think you have a point there Nelson! I'm getting alot more road noise and not so smooth compared to the Road tyres I previousley had on the Motor..... ATB Jasper
  4. About 10 years ago Simon I moved just on the outskirts of Norfolk/Lincolnshire in Bandit Territory this side of Sutton Bridge. things had to be changed over from the shotty Certificate from the Norfolk Police to Lincolnshire Police! the biggest shock came when I contacted the Insurance company about my change of address, as soon as I gave them my new postcode my Insurance went up about over £200 . Apparantly this was classed as a high risk area with many Car thefts! after living their for a year I could see why. there wasn't a month go by when at least one car wasn't burnt out near by, we
  5. its good news the birds ok mate! its supriseing how hardy these birds can be. I have tryed it in the past to Cam birds on my own Its virtually Impossible to take the bird out and Cam it single handed! it'll all come together soon though mate ...... Cheers Jasper
  6. Please enlighten me Why the two user names? ...
  7. Narrow Minded . Mate you've just showed your total Inexperience in the game! Its all about technique and a bird thats Mastered it deals with it, Sounds like you're out of your depth yet again...
  8. Nothing wrong with Lancaster Bombers when you get out and fly them . Its Horses for Courses Rich and whatever rocks your boat! but when in a area where there is plenty of game a Gos or Harris can take without over taxing itself! why would I want to consider a Eagle? if on the other hand I had Deer running round the fields like Rabbits I might consider one but even then I think I would take up a gun.... flying quarry upto the size of a Hares with a Goldie is overkill, I couldn't warrant one as I simply wouldn't get enough slips on Deer in the area, But if you think it improves the size of y
  9. I know Will she's very Gamey! some people who come out with her think its cause she's a bit too keen but she's just a young Gos going through her chase anything stage , I must admit I have had a few that needs switching on and a bit slow on the uptake, but she's just a nice Natured bird that going to come unstuck if she keeps taking on the big boys, hopefully she has learned from the lessons today ... 10. No Richard I havn't! I'm not the sort of guy who puts the birds first anymore so I'll stick it up when Timmy comes down next. whats the panic? You should enjoy yourself tomorrow with the Finn x German Gos!! at last you're getting out with a real bird and not a Lancaster Bomber ... Jasper
  11. Nice One Mate . After xmas sometime would be better for me Will!! I'll pack up in December, Ground the bird over the xmas Period and take her up again in the new year to finish the season off. Took her over the Landfill site today with after some persuation from a mate in the area!! it was a cracking day with the weather and she was nice and keen, she had a cracking slip of the top of one of the pits from 80ft up, my mate pushed out a Hare from the pature below which was flat out on its bike straight down one of the sandy tracks leading into the site, she powered down the slope flat out an
  12. Hello Danny If you look back over some of the older Posts there's alot of Info on this subject from the Harris Lads ... Cheers Jasper
  13. It comes with the Territory these days mate! there's plenty of Dreamers in this game now compared to a good few years back when the sport was less popular. I hate seeing people who buy a Harris and fly it for a year and move straight onto flying a Gos without doing enough Homework first with something like a Redtail or a Mixture of birds under their belt first. I started the Hard way as a kid with Kestrals and a few Spars which I must admit some I made a arse of but this was the line I was determined to take. even when at school I would be sent to bed earley in the evening but I would take
