  1. Very nice mate . The D40 Outlaw is what I would like to raid my Piggy bank for. at the moment I have a 2002 D22 which I can't honestly complain about but I have read things in the past which was a bit worrieing, I think alot of the crap you read is scare tactics that some people get off on for some reason. The D40 is a real looker there's no doubt about that, the little bit extra grunt compared to the D22 could come in handy too.... Cheers Jasper
  2. What a tragedy. My deepest sympathies mate..... This would never have happend 15 - 20 years ago! I would feel very Sad like yourself but also bitter that she was let down when she went to the Hospital for treatment, Heart Breaking is a understatement.....
  3. Have a good one mate . I have been Married now MC for 18 years, I forgot our anniversary just the once about 5 years ago! and have never heard the last of it .....
  4. If you have a FAC you can get DIY kits from T R ROBB's website below. if not I know Theoben fitted a variable power FT/LBS Dial on FAC rated Pre-Charge guns, you just turn the dial where the cylinder block is located! you're going to get less shots per charge though... Cheers Jasper http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~trobb/
  5. Outstanding what a result mate! he's one gamey fella......
  6. Spread the Word , Genuine Shooting/Hunting lads on the BBS can never voice a opinion without being shot down. they need to know they can join a REAL site! where they can talk and read about REAL Hunting! by REAL like minded shooters.....
  7. By the sounds of it valentino you've lost alot of enthusiasm for the line of work you do. I felt the same mate a good few years back when I felt pushed into a corner on a dead ender! I look back at it and even now wonder how I stuck it so long without tripping over the top... I'm not trying to play god here mate but perhaps you have to listen to yourself and retrain for something that would really rock your boat again? Lifes far too short mate so if there is something deep down you want to do go for it! do all the Homework and train hard and you'll walk it, at 23 you can grab another trade
  8. You're right Sim . they've taken a real hammering on some sites and I listened and paniced! but since doing my homework alot of the aqusations are unfounded, I know you like your's mate and I feel the same about mine too!! Millet also rates them very high after putting his through its paces for a few years now, I trolled the net for hours last night compareing the top pick ups and the Nav has everything going for it....
  9. Its funny how I keep hearing alot of critisim about the Navara but this car has been kicking the arse of the other oposition in the rateings for a fair while now . One thing is definitley has is more Grunt right through to the top, the other fuel consumption and a good few other things. I spent a fair bit of time comparing them all last night and have reached the conclusion a newer Navara is probably the way to go. Found this on youtube of a L200 vs Navara ...
  10. Just looked them up on the net Ferretman22 and I must admit they read well and look pretty good.....
  11. Nice one mate . I love this Navara but there has been alot fo scare stories about latley so I'll be jacking her in for a different Pick Up! are the Ranger Belt or Chain driven?
  12. Now there's a motor I keep hearing good things about latley!! The Ford Ranger ... Anyone got any info on the models from 2002 - 2005?
  13. Big problem though old mate for me is they're pretty thirsty! second they don't have a timeing chain just a rubber drive belt . There's a site for Pajero's I was on where alot of these belts was snapping on the 2.5 engines which I would guess is near on the same engine in the L200 , this is the reason I got the 2.8 cause it was chain driven ....
  14. Have a good one OZ!! have one from me ....
  15. Have a good one lad that goes for the rest who's birthday is today too .....

    Dog's for Falconry

Don't expect to get rich on it Fraser!! been there and done that mate . sometimes it can be pretty unrewarding when a breeding season goes tits up...... Cheers Jasper
  17. Get yourself a lass to practice on Fraser . when I was a teen it was available most evenings before I hit the pit!! we was all at it like Rabbits back then .... mind you there's nothing wrong with one over the wrist .....
  18. Hello Mate The earley MK1 Meteors came with two raised dovetails punched in the top of the cylinder as apposed to the more Modern scope rails on later guns! I'm pretty sure pitindall1978 is bang on saying sixties, these guns took over where the Cadet and Cadet Major left off. BSA guns back then came with all steel parts and quality! I have seen some of the later one's fitted with Plastic triggers and plastic open sights ....
  19. Brain power something I lack in abundance Moll! "when God gave out Brains I thought he said trains so I asked for a slow one"..... ... Take Care Jasper
  20. Cracking pictures Moll , you and that camera of yours should be getting awards.. That reddy coloured moth is a cracker.... Cheers Jasper
  21. Good shooting mate . I wouldn't fancy the squirrel but the Pigeon breasts should go down a treat....
  22. Good man for the recipe Stu . I wouldn't mind lobbing this couple of eel grids somewhere and getting myself a few! they're definitly one of my favourites fish to eat... Cheers Jasper Hello Kurgan They only really have one main spine bone and thats about it, I just pick the bits up and munch all the meat off around the bone, Its made me hungary now .....
  23. I'm shitting myself about it MT, after reading some of the stuff on the Nav forum its got me worrieing. a popped engine would be far to much for me to replace so I'm taking it no higher than 2500RPM between the gears.... Do you think it is a Fault with them? or the one's that have blown have been booted or not had regular oil changes?
  24. Its bugged me for a while this one Mad Al. I can be driveing along with a Camera coming up in the distance on the right hand side and the traffic on my side are still hitting their brakes pretty hard so I thought the camera could nail you on both sides? but since speaking the the lad on the Motorbike who reckons he sailed through a 50mph camera way above this its got me thinking .... Any one Fancy trying it in a car and letting me know ...
  25. If I'm driving along and the static camera in on the righthand side facing me will it still flash me for speeding? it obviousley works if the camera in the left as it flashes as you past it, but do you need a camera on both sides to get both flows of traffic? The reason I'm asking is I know of a guy passed through a Camera the oposite way on his Motorbike probably slightly over the speed limit and it didn't flash...
