  2. The last time we had a back leg Trace the wife peiced the leg and stuck cloves of Garlic and butter into the the Grooves. she then blasted some Herbs over it and Roasted it for god know how long with foil on and finished it off for a while without the foil... All I can say is I ate most of it and it was deliciouse with lots of gravey blasted over it cheers Jasp
  3. Cracking idea Trapper . I have some Roe antler here but will that do the same job? I would like to be able to do something with them..... Jasper
  4. Top Draw thats one good artist.... Jasper
  5. Just to my pride Kay! I made a mistake and payed in full. it could of been worse but it proves I should always be one step ahead of them in the future and stop f*****g about... Twice I have been done around the same eye! hopefully they won't be 3rd time lucky hey and nail me proper ..... Jasp
  6. Its funny you say that Trace! I swear there was a echo from the empty chamber when it struck my head . I'm now off to take her out over the Landfill site shortly and hopefully get her interests in quarry and not me .... Jasper Its a full faced crash helmet from now on John Jasper
  7. Its a struggle gary the way the cimate is of late!! I'm hearing and reading some Horror stories with birds that normally respond well but havn't got too much Interest. Its incredible when I was a kid I would have my scarf and Bobble hat on this time of year and now I sit here in a T shirt ... I know this much if I was taking up another youngster I wouldn't be rushing into a first clutch bird, I would rather weight on for a late youngster the way this weather is over the last few years..... Jasper
  8. Top bombing . thats a bit more Veg saved for the kitchen, and some Rabbits in the pot .... Jasper
  9. Hopefully it was a accident mate and she won't do it again but you're right there are some time Bombs waiting to go off with some falconers birds ... I have seen and heard of some pretty aggresive imprints in the past <expecially the females>. any bird that shows signs of aggresion to the Falconer needs to be carefully managed in the field, the problem is it might not always be the handler who gets nailed by it.... 10. Cheers guys Reading through these it post reminds how footy my Redtail could be! he was a wolf in sheeps clothing and most of the time was a like a puppy but had his off days like everything I suppose, on these days you needed to be on the boil because he would cut the fist clean over and nail you in the face! I had him bounce off my head on numerouse occasions but he finally did catch me out on the fist hitting me in the face before I managed to get hold of his Jesses. he did me over far better tha then Gos did and took me out big style... Six stitches in a eye wound and some in my b
  11. Its completly miffed me mate! I havn't heard anything but laws change so quick in the sountry these days so something could be happening. The info I have had through the door is the removal of some schedule 4 birds from registration.... Jasper
  12. Nice one NS I think the last time I had a tetnus injection was when I fell off my motorbike at 17 mate . The wife told me to go and get one last night just incase so it might be a good idea to get up there tomorrow, woke up this morning stuck to the pillow with a nice Shiner and looking a bit Gankey, mind you I normally wake up stuck to the sheets :wankerzo4: ! but thats a different story , Nothing like a Hawks tallon rammed into your eye socket covered in shit and chick blood though hey mate .... There's got to be a explanation to this as this bird is a big softy, a mate sent me a e
  13. I can't beleive she did this to me as she's not that sort of bird! Usually the wifes more aggresive than her but for some unknown reason she done me over for no reason.... I was a few years back hit in the same eye by a Redtail but this one gave me a few stitches on the underside. the difference is the Redtail went all out to smash me up but the Gos let go as soon as I put my right hand up, One thing I can say about the Gos is it was on me in a flash where as the Redtail I saw coming but like a twat didn't move out of the way ... Its a strange one what happend but another lesson learne

    swaffham

I'm not that far from there Andy! I fly the birds and shoot on land bordering onto Swaffham, there's plenty of sport to be had there mate . You're in Game territory and the Deer are plentyful too... Just found this on youtube about the shithole Jasp
  15. Just a quick one to warn to be careful as even the nicest of birds can do you some damage. Flew the Gos today as she has be pretty poorly lately but I took her out just to do some fist work with her, she was slow at first but finally recalled quickly at some short distances.. On her third call she came to the fist as usual and the next thing Bang!! she was hanging off my face . this bird has never shown any aggresion before so I'm finding it a bit strange for a P/R bird which certainly wasn't under weight but always expect the unexpected hey.... At first I though she just made a mi
  16. Not really Kay I'm just a sad twat . This Wii was brought for the kids last xmas but I spend more time on it than they do . I'll grow up one day but not yet ... Jasp
  17. My lad sit is on his now stubby! he's just infornmed me he's on level 52 whatever that means . that game is outstanding but when I play to long I get dizzy as f**k ... Very addictive I must admit I'm into the Wii Tiger Woods 08 game at the moment until I put my shoulder out Jasp..
  18. Very nice Timelord . the HK4004 3-12x50 SR 6 does it for me I must admit! a scope I can drop down low in mag for low light use can be handy... I had a old scope made by Tasco a few years back which was AG 1.75 - 5 x 40, its light gathering qualities was pretty good but obviousley not like some of the scopes these days.... cheers Jasp
  19. Top Bombing mate ......
  20. A lad recomended that I get one of Ramsbottoms scopes a few years ago but I still went ahead and got one of the Tasco Mill dot jobbies. since then I have heard nothing but good things about the JSR scopes.... Mr Ramsbottom has been about for a good few years now, I would think he knows exactly what most Airgunners want these days. Infact I think he was going when I was a young avid Airgun world reader when John Darling, Rod Lynton and Geofrey Boxall was doing the tests on the Springers back then. I remember when BSA did the treble one year with the Meteor winning the plinkers section, The
  21. Nice one Timelord Just found this on Youtube!! the vids nothing special but still nice to have a quick look. can't say much for his scope , although I would say it'll still do the job for him..... Jasp

    Oh dear

Sounds a bit harsh when it happend out of the school premises Kay . Definitley one I would take up with the head if I was you, Mind you I bet he is loving it having 5 days off .... My lad had a simular situation a while back but he sorted it out the proper way much like yours did in the end. he got suspended because it was IN the school premises but when the Head looked into the history of the other lad involved it was reduced to 3 days ..... Jasp
  23. Nice one smashy . I loved Vespa's but later I picked up a DT175MX trials bike which had been in a bang, the frame was ok but the fork stansions was bent and a few other bits and peices needed tidying up before it was road worthy, I loved this bike! it was a real wheely machine .... at the begging of the 90's the son of a guy I worked with came a cropper on a TZR 125! he smashed himself up a bit and his father just wanted rid, the bike was 2 years old and I picked it up for £300. again everything was straight on it apart from the front wheel/brake disc and some other bits and bobs, I
