Mines been gone two week now and still missing, make sure you put friendly on the
posters. As loads of people have seen mine and just left him as they was scared he was going
to bite.
Ring council (just incase, the worse ). Put posters up in shops (incase ones on lamposts get ripped down)
Put reward so local kids go looking but dont state how much.
Log him as lost with rspca hotline incase they pick him up.
Put leaflets through peoples doors. Put some cat food in a trap as its strong smelling (even better warmed up)
Ask postmen to keep an eye out too.
thought keighly was near me then, I jus checked and its 27 miles away but he has
been gone 2 week. Mine cant of travelled that far lol.
Anyway well done for trying to find the owner.
I normally roll em on their backs and rough em up, or run around and they chase after me lol.
Also wave a towel over em, or give em a carrier bag to play
in they go mad & those fishing rod toys you can get for cats.
Main reason mine live in a shed and court as i can get in there with em as they dont
come in the house.
Mine have dry food, 2 or 3 brands so its abit more varied. But they also have meat on a
night, the odd egg, lacto-free milk & liver every so often.
Mine would also much rather eat dry than meat too sometimes.
Dont know, but they will charge you a reasonable fee..
Can my vet refuse to issue a prescription?
If you are recommended by your vet to use any prescription item for the treatment of your pet you are entitled by law to a prescription instead if you wish.
Will my vet make a charge for providing a prescription?
Yes, veterinary surgeons can now charge a "reasonable fee" for the writing and presenting to yourself of a prescription.
Or if you dont want to tame kits get a couple of adults from a rescue centre, IMO theyre
better for first timers and they'l be already nip trained etc.
I would handle them as much as poss through the day.
Bear in mind theyre not just going to sit there, they'l want to be down exploring
so I would get a run or a shed that you can sit in with em lol.
Make sure theyve had a run round first though and they'v got a belly
full of meat so theyre less inclined to bite.
Hobs in the breeding season will try shagging each other, and its this time of year and its mating season
for ferrets. I would seperate the hobs from each other untill the season is over and their nuts
go back in then they can go back together.
Hope this helps.
I feed mine dry food 24/7 as ferrets eat every couple of hours. Then I feed raw meat on a night.
Cut out the bread and milk, bread will do nothing for em & ferrets are lactose intolerant
so they cant digest lactose in normal milk but if you want to give em some as a treat get some lactofree or catmilk for em .. Hope that helps
handfull of food? Ferrets eat every couple of hours as they got a short digestive tract.
Mine have vitalin and they have raw meat on a night. I would have thought the bread & milk went
streight through em cos ferrets are lactose intolerant.
If you have already used a flea treatment on them you will probably have to wait to retreat again with a different
product or they might react with each other .
I dont think you can get frontline drops for small animals, the best stuff is the frontline spray from the vets. The
frontline drops for cats etc are too strong for ferrets.
