  1. Thats great is that Love to see ferrets given loadsa room not stuck in an hutch all day
  2. I like it, plenty of room in there for em. Lucky ferrets.
  3. The ferret food is more expensive cos it contains more meat than most cat/dog foods. Not having a go but why feed ferrets cat food. Would you feed your dog cat food? I think alpha is the cheapest dry, feed em raw meat on a night and remove in morning.
  4. mine all shit go in the tray except the kit lol. To fasten tray down i jus thread some wire through em and fasten it to an eye hook.
  5. Normally rescues just ask the price it costs them to nueter em. Alot of em do go out of pocket if they just ask for any donation as the majority of times people just dont give enough.
  6. Nice ferret mate. Not meaning to sound stupid, but watch it doesnt fall into that dish of water. I can see the dry biscuits but make sure you give it plenty of meat aswell. A kit with a belly full of meat is less inclined to bite. I would wait till its abit bigger untill you put it in with your hob to make sure it can stick up for itself. (Depends how your hob reacts to it realy)
  7. Make sure its well fed with meat. Let it run about where you can keep an eye onnit. Get some ferretone or some malte paste, put it on your hand. If he goes to bite say no, offer again and repeat if he bites(use fist if your nervous as he wont be able to get hold). Also stroke him while hes having the tone/paste, he will soon associate hands with good things. I would leave him another day or so, hes still settling in everything is new to him.
  8. Are they gonna be 3 single hutch's or is it all one? The mesh panels on the floor are going to create a mess, if the ferrets 'toilet' then another poor bugger underneath might get covered in it.
  9. Dont give up. Is he tame? Put some posters up in the local shop. Also inform ferret rescues, vets, council (if the worse),rspca, dog warden. Theese will be the places he will most likley get taken to.
  10. I had one like that, was an ear infection, they loose their balance. Vets just gave me eardrops
  11. You can get the stuff for garage floors, you will have to chek on back though see if its safe for animals.
  12. I use fleece's for bedding. Then in the corners, wood pellets/few layers of newspaper.
  13. Report it as found to the local vets, the owner might be looking for it or put a found notice in the local shop. Well done for taking it in
  14. umm sorry to tell you this but the fans wont work as ferrets dont sweat.
  15. put em in an old pillow case. They love chillin out on em
  16. yep sheds get bloody red hot in this wheather, make sure you leave doors open. Ive got frozen bottles in bed areas, tray of water for some of em to paddle in. I also hose the top of their shed/run down. In middle of day I will give them a quick dunk in water. Some of them also like been sprayed aswell.
  17. no dont use the frontline spot on's. Theyre too strong. You use the spray as said above
  18. bump, trying not to loose hope
  19. neutering em reduces smell alot.
