  1. really nice looking pup, all the best with him i didn't realise you could get full saluki all black with white chest(thought thw were black/tan/white). I have a rescue with the exact same markings thought he was a cross because of the colouring.
  2. Thats the problem getting litter mates they are bonded to each other and have more fun with each other so why will they listen to you? 9weeks old is very young and I think you are expecting far too much. They have no control over their toilieting not sure what you expect? Telling him off is not the way to go you need to house train your pups! Your words telling him off is 'driving the bond further away'. I never tell my pups off for toilieting, I take them where they are to go after they sleep, eat and play and praise them. Never had any trouble training a pup that way! I would go with the
  3. Sorry to hear about your mates dogs? Where does your mate live? I work in the glasgow vet school and could ask the pathologist if he could do a pm on one of the dogs cheaper. I'm not back to work until tuesday bit let me know if you want me to ask?

  7. I agree don't give the pup back to the guy, sounds like the pup has had a really difficult start. He may have trusted the woman more because she was a woman and has not had any harm done to him by a woman. I hope you get him back and can find him an experienced home to bring him on. I hope you get yourself a dog soon
  8. It will heal fine like that if kept clean. My lurcher had a wound very simialr and half of it opened up. He did get special dressing on it that pulled all the infection out!
  9. If it were me I would walk her near the trains on lead, rewarding her for not chasing and getting her use to the trains being around in a controlled manner. Have something more exciting to chase when the train passes. Does she like toys? You can have one that you only use when the train is passing to distract her, having her on lead or long line to start with?

  19. Sounds good to me, but what are you thinking of in terms of cost. Normal microchip is £20, how much more would your chip be? I have know idea the cost of making the chip so wouldn't know what to expect re cost.
