What Do Think Of This Fella

Ha! I can't imagine he could train any dog with that voice, I would think he would have to carry an entire chicken with him to get the dog back!

My dogs get treats but they look to me because I control all that is good in their life I am shite hunter compared to all my dogs..no way they will follow me on the hunt haha nonsense, he needs to go study wolves a bit more as they do not do that to a six week old pup please don't listen to this tit! all it works to do is scare a pup ,, Maybe he should stop imagining FFS I can't believe I just wasted my time listening to him! We are no not actually living in the wild ,,, and treat trainers use electric collars ...god the man is an idiot! I haven' actually worked out what he does, give the pup a hard smack to really scare them ???

For The Guys Who Work All Week

I do walk them in dark who said there was a problem so what are you asking? how do we walk the dogs working full time as it is dark? We walk them in the dark the same as we walk them in the daylight? Yeah a walk in the dark is a walk in the dark hardly a mooch isit?? Which is what mine are used to ,and pup thats on at minute would be gone in a sec also not into the habit of lettin the pup off of the lead hunting up in the dark not smart idea isit clever chap you can't walk your dogs off lead in the dark? I have 8 who are off lead running in the dark . We walk the same daylight or not. I never had problems with pups or adult rescues in the dark. I guess its all in the training clever chap?

Why can't you walk dogs in the dark? I work full time and walk the dogs for a couple of hours when I get home, and a shorter walk before. Not sure what the problem is with the dark?

Not a sniff Charlie boy when someone presumes to put words in my mouth I "presumed to put words into your mouth" ???? you said to try the method not sure if it would work...did you not? it is a crap method for training dogs and you advised the guy to try it...I did not put those words into your mouth..Breaking dogs is not a method I would use so would therefore not put such such words into any ones mouth!

    Saluki X Problem

I am confused, why would any living animal..humans included, be happy to be "broken"I see you haven't explained the methods you use to "break a dog". Maybe best you keep it to yourself don't be a tit mate some gundog trainers used to use their methods to break exceptionally stuborn dogs with great results me on the otherhand I don't need to, I'm pretty good when it comes to training dogs I am the tit? Cause I don't need to "break dogs" I have seen some clips of gundog trainers..abuse it is and I wouldn't give them a hamster to take care of.... I am afraid I am thinking the person who thinks because some gundogs trainers use this method it is going to work to teach a saluki recall may be the one being the tit. I will try and find the clip of the gundog trainer that made its rounds on fb...the guy was proud of himself for bullying and abusing a spaniel. Brute force and ignorance. I guess you and I live in two different worlds...I obviously have different standards...From what I have seen you don't have much support with your breaking advice on this thread? And there you go being a tit most on here know I was only offering as a suggestion and not actually advocating it. You on the other hand are all over it like a dose of herpes. Peace x by suggesting it you are advocating it....just saying!

    Saluki X Problem

People have to take some responsibility and not just blame the dog I feel sorry for the dog, lead walked and left in pen. I have 8 rescue dogs, no downward spiral for them. The have a great life. I had to start all over on recall with some, as they were worried to come back due to adverse training, ie physical punishment or e collars. If he cares for the dog and he seems to then he has to find somewhere for the dog that people are able to work with her. I have a saluki here who came to me at a year old. Her recall was terrible and she wouldn't come back, because of the reasons I mentioned above. Her recall was coming good in no time and then she broke her leg. Two operations and a year later I had to start over with her recall. Especially as she didn't want the fine to end, only short walks to start with. A year later and her recall is pretty good. I will never understand having a healthy dog pts because people have failed them. No I am not suggesting free ads. I do believe there are worse fates then death, but if a dog was not working out with me then it would be my responsibility to find the right home for the dog. I don't view dogs as disposable. Maybe get in touch with a good rescue like Lurcher LInk when they have space they may take her in and find her the right home?

I think if you are just lead walking her and leaving her in kennel you must find her another home. There is no point in you keeping the dog who will not be happy and will not improve.
