Why can't the ear be packed with cotton wool and then sealed with Vaseline on working days ... Easy to take out and clean at the end of a day ......

Dave when I was 14 my youngest brother who was eleven at the time fell off a rope swing and shattered the back of his skull on a rock ... As luck happened one of the leading neurologists in the country at the time was visiting Morriston hospital to open a new wing and scrubbed up and operated on him .... nine hours later the prognosis was 20% chance of him surviving ... He had stitches inside his scalp and and had to have part of his brain scraped clean and had 160 stitches to put his head back together ... Today he his a manager of a double glazing factory ... I peg mine down it just stops the trap moving and allows for a quicker fire of the trigger ... But as has been said each to their own ..... -

Cheers lads the pup is 18 weeks old ... Craigntod it does effective pup being around game at that age ... It makes them much more steady biddable and controllable .......

Trap on its way to me so we can take a look at quaility etc (thanks mr muddy) but we are trying a high tensile steel wire made in sheffield (my home city) so it should withstand a little harsh weather,also a galvenised high strengh wire and see which will work best. We are going to look at the washer for the trigger ( thanks old trap collector) connected with a fine wire so not to loose it. As for the setting tool that could be work in progress but we have several small tool makers locally that will be able to help. iwm I don't understand the need for a setting tool ... I set all mine -
When you see kids who just want to live their life and play with their pals yet they know thats not going to happen and so are just living in the here and now as best they can it really makes me realise what courage is. Having a stand up or a fight of any sort comes as natural to some of us as Tuesday follows Monday it doesnt take courage to do what comes natural.........a small child having a smile on their face knowing they are dying has to be just about as unnatural situation as its possible to get so for me thats where the real courage is !
