New science has proven that if the bitch is carrying the antibody it will be in the pups system up until 15 weeks so it's pointless immunising any sooner .........

Due to inherent immunisation my vet suggests doing the first jab around 15 weeks which is what I did with lotty .......

Absolutely fine mate ... If you're worried ring your vets and ask when the last case of parvo was ... I take a litter of pups out into the middle of nowhere to run around at least three times a week ... It gets them used to the car and they see smell and hear new sights ... All good for their education and socialising........

Hell of a storm here at the moment winds are swirling rain is coming down but the temperature is still 19 degrees ... It's way to warm fella leave the dog alone ... if you think she is lacking wind then get down to a river or lake and get her swimming retrieving a dummy ... A good workout and she will stay cool .......

Forget about the % per body weight it doesn't work out for lurcher pups ... Keep feeding three meals for the next few months and let it eat what it wants within reason ... A lurcher pup shouldn't look like a lurched it should be nice and fat but not obese ......

I was at the cashpoint on Wednesday with the dogs in the back of the truck and woman came up to me and said ... Do you realise all your windows are done up and your dogs are on your back seat and to make it worse your engine is running ... Very poiltely I replied that I knew all that and that the dogs were just fine ... I could see she was just about to get excited and go nuts on me so opened the door and invited her to put her hand in side ... As she did I remarked that air con is a marvelouse invention ... For one second I thought she was going to tell me they are to cold lol .........
