Got her set up in front of patio doors so she has full run of yard, I would of prefered to welp her outside but I felt inside was better for pups until there weaned. Got heat lamp and another one for backup if I need them.IMG_2747.JPG Spot on mate ... Best of luck with the 12 births ......That's reassuring him,lol out of interest ,do the pups need a lamp in this weather,I'm sweating at night,only pulling duvet over me probably 2-3 am in morning,and it's often half on floor at 6 ,when I get up,lol Pups can't regulate their body temperature mate so they can need a heat lamp no matter what the ou

Any hard wood mate as you need the friction to cause an ember ... A soft wood just crumbles into a mulch ... The biggest mistake people make is not making your drill hole Deep enough which is why the friction stick slips out as you see so many times on these tv programmes ........

I've used a bow drill a fair few times mate ... Hard work but very effective as long as it's dry and you have small enough tinder to get it going ... I wouldn't fancy using that mouth piece ... to me it's a risk not worth taking in the middle of nowhere ... One slip and you get a stick rammed into your mouth .. Also using both hands is more effort than just using one .....
