That was obviously tongue in cheek in answer to you saying nobody had said it yet .... HOWEVER Rightly or wrongly I see things in black and white so to me you have two options 1. you grab yourself by the chinstrap and pull yourself up off the ground for your benefit and for the benefit of your daughter who has just got her dad back and would want to get to know the real you ...... 2. No mate. I cut the wood down into inch square pieces and soak in pentacryl for two days. Let them drip dry and then dry them in the oven for two days. Result is a completely dry and hard material.

I’ve had this blade sat for ages whilst I was looking for a really nice handle material. Cut down an ash tree last week with a lovely tiger stripe pattern through the middle so used that as the handle. I’ve put a false edge on the tip and roughed and blue backed the top quarter of the knife and put a pattern down half of the spine.
