  1. Nice pack you have. The dog on the right looks similar to my dog. Atb gvc
  2. This is the only picture the lad has. I hope it helps
  3. He is going to be some animal ray. He's very tidy. Atb gvc.
  4. She's a saluki greyhound bitch 15 month old. She's around 26" tts. White with black patches I would say evenly marked. Smooth coated. I will check with the guy and find out about scares ect. Atb gvc
  5. I haven't got any pictures the lad will sort one out as soon as he can. He's busy ridding around looking for any signs of the motor. A guy from further up the street has given a better description on the motor it's a dark green old 4x4 possibly land rover. This also has been seen in the crook area at the same time as dogs where stolen.
  6. That's what I thought. His back sreet is very narrow and is a dead end. They would have to drive in and reverse out or vice verser. Or someone who has been driving around the back streets in the day light and spotted the bitch then. Thanks J.DOG.
  7. The lad is out looking for any signs of them as soon as I can I will put a better discription up. The dog had injured her self and was only at his house while she healed. Up the stitches came out three weeks ago and she was just starting to work again. Another week and she would not of been there.
  8. 20 mins ago a good friends black and white lurcher bitch was stolen from his back yard while he was eating his tea. A old 4x4 like a land rover was seen putting the dog in and leaving. Please keep your eyes open.
  9. As far as I know his sire was a first cross collie/grey and the dam was collie/grey bred with slightly more grey in her. That's right if you where to try and put a percentage on it you'd be looking at as near as dame it 5/8 3/8. Atb gvc
  10. He's looking we'll. I'm glad he is suiting you. The Scottish air must agree with him. His sister is coming along we'll too. Iv got a few pics on the camera I'll up load some. Thanks for keeping me up to date. Atb Gary.
  11. If you need to be vouched for by someone. Could anyone help with this. Could an exsisting member maybe make a post on there to fetch it to the admins attention. I have been waiting for a while now and so too has a good friend of mine. I am more than happy to comply with any vetting programme that they have. Atb gvc.
  12. I agree fully I have re home'd a number of these for to be guard dog's they settle in to any environment. There brain power will shock a lot of people and once you have kept one you will not want any other breed. Here is our young dog he's 20 month old. That loose gate in the picture makes the bravest of people think twice.
  13. I think it is horses for courses personally. I had a Wheaton cross who was a very game dog how would be at the kennel door tail wagging every day/ night of the week no amount of work would sicken him. You really had to think for him a put his welfare above his desire to work and please you. In the same breath I have a first x collie bitch still working on her 9 birthday and she was as game but lacked some of the power he had ( she's 23 tts). At close quarter's they both would work with as much vigour as each other. Could the fact that there is less collie xs doing this job now be more to do w
  14. Very smart animal. A credit to you. I love to see pups out and getting an education. Atb.
  15. Iv had the young first cross collie greyhound out today. Marking has come on a treat so to has her jumping and hunting up. She really tries and made a few nice catches. She even managed to Take one out of the mouth of a burry after a long run up hill. She was lucky not to have hurt her self. She'll need a bit of a rest though as she managed to take both of her stops off. Retrieving needs some work. She will fetch a ball back on the run but she seams to be proud of her catches and likes to parade them first. So some work with a carcass is needed when she's no Longer sore.
  16. I knew I would forget something. On the net and phone apps are available for it to. Just type in groupon to any search engine and they will come up. Like wise in an app store. Sign up to groupon and watch out for the deals coming up. There is a list of vets in each area that you can use. Atb.
  17. As it states above very good rates on puppy jabs. I have had my pup done and it was very straight forward. Sign up to groupon deals or ask someone who is already signed up to look for the deal for you. Then Commit to buy. Then choose your vet and location. Next print out your voucher. Then call the chosen vet up make the appointment. When you get to the vets produce one of the vouchers ( keeping the other for the second visit). I paid £20 for both jabs £10 each. They also do deals for jab's and a life times worth of boosters. Not sure on the price of these. These vouchers have a use by date on
  18. It's getting harder to get tripe at the minute as there is a large demand in Europe for it. The local abattoir to me has told me they are getting freezer wagons from polland in that will take as many as possible. Unfortunately this means that halls and the like that can still get it can charge what they want and still sell it. Atb
  19. Here's one for the family album. Measured the bitch today and she's 21.1/2 inch so I hope she'll make 23-24 inch. At a push. Atb
  20. Glad he has settled in well. I'm pleased he has gone to a good working home. It looks like your bitch is suffering him. I had his sister out to day and she was gifted her first catch. The old bitch pushed a rabbit out of cover and it had no where to go. At this age I'll take whatever she gets. Not the best retrieve but she was full of it. Atb for the future mate. ( keep me posted).
  21. Totally agree with you punches way above it's weight. We had one that took an more aduse than you would of thought possible that included being rolled at least three times. It had been off roaded for two year before we got it . It was sold to a friend who abusesd it for another six month. The auto box worked like a dream.
  22. Really liked the post. Thank you for posting.
  23. I ran a 08 l200 it never let me down apart from a snapped half shaft. This was my fault very big tyres and a lot of abuse. In -15 temperature's. Mpg wise motorways at the speed limit would give you 33.5 mpg. I picked a range rover up from Essex with a trailer and the round trip ended up 27.1 mpg. I done 140.000 miles in three year and it did need a new clutch. It did tow a 18 ft triple axle trailer 6 days a week with 2.5 to 3 ton on it's back and shunting this around would take it's toll on any clutch. Off road wise it was decent by any standards. They will take the biggest of wheels without a
