I think Scottish mink grow bigger though moo, is it the increased salmon in the diet boosting the omega 3 oil in the mink pituitary gland incresing the growth hormone? Especialy in the west coast of scotland as the mink theres staple diet is escapee farmed salmon and the high protien pellets that are fed to these salmon increases the the protien out put in the salmon when eaten by mink ...I have even heard that some young females of 32" not includeing the tail have been tackled by seasoned fox dogs and have failed ....The west coasters up here have added some fighting pitt blood shipp

if it was that bad why did he phone a vet ? dont make it sound worse to justify your friends actions ....In fact I agree with what he done if it was that bad ....I have pts dogs for less ....but the point iam trying to make and im not saying it again is a vet should never make that prognosis over the phone .....and labtastic I was never 50/50 whether to put my dog to sleep in fact it never crossed my mind ..... your right on you make the decision on working ability you dont put dogs like this to sleep on a wim...... this dog gave me everything so the least I could do was give the dog a chanc

Byt the sounds of it you would be better training your pup better recall and retrieving as running the beam will come in time ....another good tip is to teach your dog is when you switch the lamp off the dog will come to you -
I have a dog in my yard with 3 pins in his hok that was supposed to never run again that was 2 1/2 years seasons ago and hes dropped more game than you would believe since ....the point im trying to make is no vet can make that prognosis over the phone

The salmon was supposed to be taken to a lab to be analised and i am hearing it was mid 50 to 60lb ....but this could just be a rumour to give the Pert beat a bit of publisity ...... I spoke to Martin Stansfield about it and Brice White who is one of the worlds leading scientist on salmon scales so if any one could find what lab it would be going to it would be them .....and they couldnt find out ......but if it is out there it will all come out in the wash as they say
