    So lancer if you rocked up to a spot that you considered undiggable you would enter a hard type of terrier ?.... I would walk away and have done on several occasions but then I dont have the type of dog I would consider dropping into one of these places and I have and had terriers I would call hard

    I know most of the keepers in my area and get a fair bit of work with the big dogs and little dogs ...the thing now adays is the younger generation of keepers realise just what a handy tool a decent lurcher and terrier can be infact most of the younger keepers keep a lurcher now a days and will tell you that its the dog they have in the truck most so it has become easier of late to get lurcher work on estates ..infact even some of the old school keepers love watching the big dogs graft. The actual grouse shooting season up here is not much more than a month and on this particular place there

    Checking some of the new grouse butts but to tell you the truth with the toretial rain we have had these past few days and cold nights I think the grouse numbers up here will be poor
