  1. I Have a blind from birth jill ferret from one of last years litter. Worked her a few times over x-mas and was bolting rabbits left, right and centre. Great little ferret tbf and doesn't spook out when approached. Happy little ferret and I guess what she lacks in sight she gains in smell! Well chuffed
  2. First light for me. Nice cold frosty morning, peace and quite, few mates to help and a cup of coffee. Weekends don't get much better than n that! (unless im shooting pigeons)
  3. Nice morning out today. Couldnt be arsed with the nets so put 2 guns over the holes. Ended up with a nice bag full with the loss of a good few 2. All good fun tho and great sport
  4. Set up a 6 hole warren on a grassy hill on the side of a race course. what a great start to the weekend, sun shinning a few holes set and cuppa watching the nags in training. Pushed 2 good sized bunny's within a few minutes. Good start! Then proceeded to a wooded area a bit further along and set up with 10 nets. As there was so much debris about, leafs and branches I missed a hole. the hole that two rabbits bolted from, nightmare! The two rabbits ran up to the next warren so I after leaving the ferrets down for a little longer I moved the nets up to the next set "there not gonna get away t
  5. Started my session this morning with four bolting to my new albino (this years) Missed two and 1 kill down the hole with my old bruiser. And my two young jill Kits are happy with what was brought home Chuffed
  6. Very pleased with my 2 hobbs over the last couple of sessions so i thought id give a couple of jills ago after x-mas! These two jill kits are from my albino hob, so i cant wait to see how they work.
  7. Both my hobs are great workers, full of life and love the job . I have never had to dig them out either!! My big albino will even drag the rabbit out if he gets hold down the hole. Fantastic little workers A.T.B
  8. Went to a country fair today, walked past some kits, then ended up buying another hobb Damn you country fair
  9. Left one of mine in the garden untended for a couple of minutes the other day. Came back out, no ferret about nightmare. Then heard a scream from next door and he had got over the fence and made his way threw the cat flap and into my neighbors kitchen!! Oops lol. Its not the first time either. My missis was not best pleased
  10. iv been very lucky up in till now and the Farmers on the local perms have seen a lot of myxomatosis in the last few weeks! I think its gonna be one of those years in my area
  11. One of my hobs will not stop biting. Both brother ferrets are a year old now and one is great. a fantastic worker and a real joy to handle and a happy little Hob. The other one started biting a few months back. he was fine until spring and then just got aggessive. He is very happy in himself and is very playful. But all he wants to do is bite me (ankles are a fav). I Have tried many diffrent things from flicking nose to the spray bottle and he is just getting worse. Hes not intrested in biting others when out in the garden just me lol. Starts with a sniff of the boots and ankles and then as
