you can fill your boots with spider crabs were i live can catch them on crablines or in pots right below my house or by hand if you fancy snorkelling

same here we used to get them from an old lady who used to sit in her stone floored cottage surrounded by shrimp shells used to buy them by the pint shelled or unshelled , caught in the dee estuary there really expensive now though when i can get them
