  1. Poachers tales and more tales of the old poachers are great books. You can pick them up cheap on eBay, I think I paid £3 for them.

  3. What about a disco or a 90 with a disco engine and twin tank it on veg oil?
  4. Fair play to you! Hard work is airgun pigeon decoying I take my hat off to you! (If I was wearing one) mostly ferals where all I could manage with the airgun and decoys. I bet your lad is loving the days out with you he is very lucky wish you happy shooting.
  5. Pretty good bag with an airgun well done. I'd get a shotgun if you decoy regular, bloody great fun!
  6. Stuff like this gets you itching to have a go! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2336423/I-Roman-coins-worth-100-000--20-minutes-buying-metal-detector-Novice-unearths-nationally-significant-treasure-hunt.html
  7. Interesting thread this! Been fancying a metal detector for years. Whilst talking to a metal detector a while ago he found all sorts, mainly horse shoes and musket balls but occasionally coins. I bet it would be an interesting pastime!
  8. Price drop £120 for baikal and £70 for the .410. Ovno
  9. Mounts come in the kit but if u have the batteries and charger you can buy the torch on its own and save a bit of Money compared to kit price, I paid £115 for torch only. The mounts are same as ebay item no: 191249785161 and are perfect mounts for a veriety of torches.
  10. PIC of the cabinate marks on the Baikal.... Apologies for the poor quality photos, I can send then via RFD but it won't be until the weekend as I work long hours, I think he charged £15 last time to send them Atb tom.
  11. Hi all I have for sale 2 guns, An old Belgian .410 hammer gun, a pleasure to use and a great light walkabout gun had much fun with this. Has some slight pitting (miles better than most iv seen) no rust inside the barrel and locks up very tight. It is very old and looks like it can tell a few stories, the condition is reasonable considering its age with a few light scratches, its as nice to look at as it is to shoot and has had many bunnies and pigeons. I'll chuck in a box of carts to get you going. A 12 bore Baikal hammer gun, as tight as the day it was made, is still stiff and locks u
  12. Night master 800 great pice of kit see review: Adjustable beam and beam power, lasts ages on a single battery. This torch blew me away when it landed its great!
  13. Looks great matt and after a test shot it is very nice to shoot too! I'd keep the stock origional with its small Dink's in it they add charectar! Nice gun can't beat an old BSA. Brought back some memories seeing that! Just a shame bout your little misshap LOL!.
  14. Great stuff well done I'll be watching this! Cheers.
  15. Disco 200 TDI conversion is what I'd go for, that's what I did with mine. Iv seen decent engines from rotten disco,s sell for £250 and Steve parkers has all the conversion pipes etc very good parts too. Very happy with mine easy to work on and only needed mounts swapping from old engine and it fit straight in. Also with kenlowe fan you have lots of room to work on your engine too. Recently did timing belt and that wasn't too difficult and parts for them are very cheap too. Good mpg I run mine on bio diesel and 100% filtered waste veg oil during the summer and it loves it, runs very quiet and s
  16. A nice outing - harvest is better than Christmas! It also gives a nice feeling knowing that the undergrowth will die back soon and then we can go out for a wander on cold crispy mornings. Seeing that barn owl hunting made the night not seen one for a while. The falcons where brilliant too with a nightmaster 800 its a great set up. Looking forwards to going back asap its fantastic land and the farmer is great too he braught us out a carrier bag full of plums too! Nice to spend a night out matty will go again soon.
  17. He is in Wakefield, I borrowed this gun for a day then promptly went and tracked one down and baught one. Great guns.
  18. What was that rubber textured spray called, was it plastidip? In black i bet that would be quite good for it and make it grippy too. The cammo look and that scope doesn't help its appearance I bet it would look better in black with a better scope. If it shoots accurately it will be a handy little gun.
  19. That will be abserlutely perfect for lamping from the landy! Looks a bit "different" lol. But I bet it will be very practical to manoeuvre out the landy window and saves your nice gun stocks from scratches when bouncing about too. It will be a handy tool that I bet if you can look beyond its looks and imagine how much easier it will be to use than manouvering a snooker que falcon out the window while hoping the bunny stays put long enough or pigeons see movement from a long gun moving about outside the window. You could always buy a thumbhole stock for it for when your gonna take it out in th
