    Those cichlids do not like plants do they lol. Couldnt keep those, as part of it for me is growing healthy plants too.

    Yeah, I love those assassin snails too, sorted out some infestions with gusto :-) I'm addicted to these shrimp, playing god and breeding them in different colour combos lol. also, cant beat keeping something in your tanks who's main food is algae :-) My current favs in my community tanks are Boraras micros, real nice tiny little fish. I have a shoal of 20

    take the central part of an old bike wheel, take all the spokes off, and weld a spike on one side, then you have a spinning bearinged thingi, lol, im not describing this well, i'll go dig one out and take a pic ;-)

    I'll give a second vote for bamboo but also Pyracantha is a good choice for security, great hedging plant and bloody hurts to climb through lol Yours sounds like a good spot for fire thorn to me.

    Makes sense to me that if you can use modern science to convict people who have been found not guilty in times gone, then you should use that science, and convict on it. If it is sound.

    I never did Axle, but i recon the cross will be sound, both good hardy birds. I prefer the indian game, but prefer more eggs too.

    collard doves lay all year round, every year. their originally from poland, and their breeding habits of raising broods all year is whats helped them colonise this country so quickly.

    Foxes dont always kill everything, sure they do quite often, but it isn't a given.

    its a weird season, and many are showing signs of a false spring, which is of course the main laying period for all chickens. My own are doing the same, had a period not long ago of very few eggs, but there in full spring mode now.
