    Had a nice steady season, more ferreting than lamping this year, freezers nicely topped up and dogs been injury free. Feel the dogs in his prime sense wise, but slowing down a bit fitness wise. Finished now, will take the rifle out a few times, but the ferrets have been separated and there getting ready for the summer fete and a bit of racing down drain pipes lol.

    Just approaching 40, 3 kids, 5 year old twin boys and a 2 year old boy, plus a fine wife, good dogs, good ferrets, good life. feeling happy about my lot, and looking forward to a good summer.

    I sorta do, but then, i also dont. I suppose the main reason i dont is I dont know how other serving people would feel about it. could be seen as a kick in the teeth to those serving out there, americans are very big on not leaving anyone behind, and rightly so i think.

    The afghan courts are fecked up places, with no real sense of justice, so I think he should be tried in the u.s, many more will die though if he is tried in the u.s, in riots ect. Its a rock, and a hard place.

    Well, it was a bigun, that alone makes everything else seem "odd" to lots of people, who then look for "things" i'm no expert, but i'll throw a few ideas out there, it changed colour as it came through the atmosphere, and burnt up more/less oxygen, the bang could of been sound barrier booms? but the thing that most makes me think it was just a big meteor is all the proper outdoors folk on here that actually saw it, and say is was a big meteor ?

    lol, the bigger fear is that pretty much everything does get past any thing they have to monitor it, makes you think a big one could strike and first we would know would be the mushroom cloud. Still, its cool that so many of you got to see this meteor

    Way i see it, a good lurcher can do everything a good whippet can do, but a good whippet can not do every thing a good lurcher can do.
