  1. Some nice pictures there, but I just have to say, if I seen someone on a mobile phone when they should have been on a shovel I'd use them for backfilling, LOL. It was great day in a lovely venue and it was nice to meet many new faces and have the craic.
  2. If I may on behalf of the I.W.T.F. give a big thank you to The Westmeath Foxhounds and The Westmeath WTC for allowing us to play a part in their highly successful show yesterday. I'd also like to thank all of you who stopped by at our stall. The 62 new members we got yesterday will play a big part in helping the IWTF go from strenght to strenght. It also shows how serious terrier folk are in helping to support and fight for our terriers and way of life. Thanks again, Neil.

I'd also like to thank all those who visited our stand. The 62 new members that we got goes to show how much terrier folk support and want to fight for our terriers and way of life. Thanks again, Neil.
  4. Brilliant. We have to keep the young ones interested and involved.
  5. See you there Danny, it's your turn to relax and enjoy the show.
  6. And now the next step is to find the thief.
  7. Tommy, we had to shop around and then decide on the style of card etc. and they've been ordered and should be ready soon. Thanks for asking.
  8. A little bit of nail varnish remover dabbed on a cotton bud and then rubbed around the tick is the best way of insuring that the tick falls off your animal with the head and mouth parts intact. And this way you don't have to dip into your best bottle of scotch, LOL.
  9. The Irish Working Terrier Federation will have their stall at The Westmeath Foxhounds up coming Terrier and Lurcher show this Sunday ,22nd of July. A big thanks to Kevin for allowing us to do so which will enable any club who wants to join up to come and meet us. I'm looking forward to meeting many of you. Any questions ring 086 4452999.
  10. The Irish Working Terrier Federation will have their stall at the Westmeath Foxhounds Terrier and Lurcher show this coming Sunday, 22nd July. A big thank you to Kevin for allowing us to do so which will enable all clubs who wish to join up and fight for our terriers and the right to work them. I'm looking forward to seeing many of you there, Any questions ring 086 4452999.
  11. Calling the people you work alongside "filth" doesn't say much for your character, does it ?Your question is typical of one asked to get answers from fools. It's working too. Firstly I don't work alongside them, I just did a few week of work which happened to be at the same place whilst working on the olympics, and who are you to judge my character? And if I was trying to get information from people why would I ask about it in a country where it is legal? No one has posted any stupid comments about stuff some people may do, maybe your just a bit paranoid and no one should have to worry

  13. Thanks Albert. We were busy but I still got away from the stand for a while and had a good look around the fair. Sorry now I didn't bring a few extra pounds. I didn't want to leave Coch y Bondus book stand, LOL. Our member who owned our stall was good enough to leave his holiday in the West of Ireland for a day and had to be back before he was divorced . Hence the reason we left a little early, but not too early. It was a great day for the IWTF and now it's all systems go now for Birr.
  14. On behalf of the Irish Working Terrier Federation can I give a big thank you to the organisers of the excellent game fair at Shanes Castle yesterday. Allowing us to set up our stall next to the terrier ring was brilliant for our organisation, especially as the I.W.T.F. is still very much in it's infancy. Also can I give a big thank you to those of you who visited our stall and joined your club to the I.W.T.F. It was great craic meeting you all and your support and help will help us in our aims to keep the right to work and own our terriers here in Ireland. Keep an eye on our web-s
  15. Sorry Aaron, we'll only be there on the Sunday. But do keep an eye on the Web Site to see the other venues that we'll be attending. Our phones have been hopping about Sunday at Shanes Castle so it's looking good for a right good day. P.S. If I hear of one single terrier man who didn't attend because there's a chance of rain. I personally will remind him for the rest of their days. LOL.
  16. So what about a little rain, we're not made of sugar, LOL. Truth be told, good countrysports folk wont even notice if it's raining or not.
  17. For those of you who've maybe had their head stuck down an earth for the last few weeks, The Irish Working Terrier Federation will have a stand beside the terrier ring this Sunday at the hugh game fair in Shanes Castle, Northern Ireland. Come say "hello" and if you have your club up and running then join up. We must all stick together if we are to beat any threats that face our way of life. We owe it to our terriers.
  18. See you at Birr so Gem. If we look thirsty standing on the stall make you bring some liquid refreshments, LOL.
  19. My father will spend good money on the best of rods and then stick a 40 year old Mitchell 300 on it. He has several. Only last week I swapped a perfect Mitchell 305 left handed reel (at least 50 years old ) for a brand new 9' 6" Loomis and Franklin rod. I had used the reel regularly over the years and it still goes like clockwork. Nowadays I seem to throw a modern reel or two in the bin every season.
  20. Just a reminder folks to let you know that anyone who has a club formed and want's to join the I.W.T.F. that we will be present near the terrier ring at the game fair. All contacts given to us by clubs will be held in the strictest confidence and will only be available to our board members.
