I think its sometimes best not to get too wrapped up in statistics they rarely tell the truth......i might be wrong but i think they class a completed pass as a pass that your team mate touches before your opponent does simple as that......from the bits ive seen of that game today there was a lot of times where Scholes put his team mate in trouble,yes it was a completed pass but not a good one and one that did more harm than good........these little 10 foot passes sideways and backwards dont make a great player from what ive seen Scholes looked heavy legged and out of touch.

I dont think the blacks themselves really know what they want to be called anymore mate..............some of them are being dragged along in this insanity and are just as confused as we are. I cant help thinking this has all got a touch of desperation about it......I personally thought Khan nicked it but when its close like that i dont think you can argue too much.....but immediately after the fight Khans camp was kicking up a stink about one thing or another.......its almost like they was desperate to find something legitimate to create about,and now they,ve eventually found it ! Id like the big football club to win anyway never mind them 2 silly clubs i saw Dagenham & Redbridge hold Millwall to a goalless draw today....and tomorrow its up the m1 to Hillsborough for a nice little 1 nil away win.......oh its tough at the top City 1 United 1 would be my bet.

This is the type of thing that gets people down....when folk make excuses for the obvious truth or plain ignore the truth for fear of offending somebody..........so is it only blacks who are " poor,alienated,with hopeless futures " ?.......blacks are implicated in more crimes than whites because percentage wise blacks commit a far higher number of crimes than whites do.....you might not like that but its the truth......black youths are 6 times more likely to commit crime than white youths.......now if you take into account that blacks as an ethnic minority group make up less than 4% of the uk

I dont feel sorry for them for any other reason than the fact that if they had killed a white boy instead of a black boy we wouldnt even know their names !....We all have to accept that if we,re caught we have to take the punishment.....but punishment by a jury is one thing,punishment by an entire nation is something different altogether,and not right.

1....Correct,all bad laws should be changed.....but surely 800 years is rather a long time to recognise and change a bad law im sure you would agree....hence its my belief that the timing of the change being during a high profile case involving a black man wasnt just coincidence....it was bending over backwards to help the poor repressed black man. 2....I didnt know Lawrence,maybe you did as you think he was a clever lad......do you think this 19 year old lad was clever enough to understand the whole civil rights/black power thing.....after all this is England a predominantly white christian

Im no law student so im sure the other chap will know more than i do......but i think you,ll find we do have a mickey mouse version of what the yanks call the 6th ammendment...i forget what we call it now......and your right Wilf it certainly wasnt put into force in the Lawrence case.......what also should be taken into account in my opinion is the fact that 16 years ago when they were first tried there was nowhere near the mass frenzy of obssessive " race issues " that there is today......in the last 10 years we as a society have become utterly deranged as regards anything that could be terme

Its only 100 % correct if the 2 cases are 100% the same and they are not.....its like comparing football and rugby,both use a ball and both are sports but thats where the comparisons end..... Must admit im a soft touch i find it hard to walk passed a white Englishman living rough in the same areas i grew up in......watching foreigners coming out of their houses getting into cars with a full stomach i find hard.......putting a coat on the back of some poor sod in our own neighborhoods i dont find hard at all if we cant look after our own people when we can we,ve got no hope !

From my understanding the difference between the Lawrence case and the case Gin is talking about is that in the Lawrence case the Macpherson Report directed that an aquitted suspect could be re-tried IF new evidence was found.................whereas in the Dunlop case he actually confessed after getting aquitted first time round and pleaded guilty in a re-trial as well as being done for purgery............so although Dunlop was the first to be convicted ( in 2005 ) it was under different circumstances..........the Lawrence case has been described as " One of the most important moments in the m
