Always makes me laugh these debates about a how a boxer wouldnt last 5 minutes in a mma octagon.......or a footballer wouldnt last 5 minutes on a rugby pitch......................same old daft comparisons...... Put a mma fighter in a boxing ring or a rugby player on a football pitch and they wouldnt last 3 minutes let alone 5 !......................

Oh right ok.....i thought he was turning into a god like figure up there ...........i dont really understand all the religion carry on but that makes sense i spose the odd bullet/death threat wont do no harm its all good for morale .................hard season to make judgement on really if they go straight out the champions league now but piss the league theres not much achieved i guess. I dont think the managers particularly like it but its a responsibility to the fans i suppose........i nearly had Glenn Roeder in tears some years back i can be a little bit too tenacious at times and he looked round the room as if to say " will someone shut this c**t up " ................to give him his due ol Arry always gave a good account of himself and would stay after and have a natter just like he was one of us........i always liked Redknapp i can see why players would want to give their best for him he,s very charismatic and just one of your own really.

The club used to do them a few times a season for the supporters club Lab the fella asking the question could of been anyone just regular fans thats all.........it all stopped a few years back when our managers stopped talking English as a first language ..........................not sure if any other clubs have them i know the other London clubs dont.

Nah leave him alone he,s alright i must admit i was totally wrong about him......when he walked in the door i was calling for his head before he,d even done anything......but credit where its due he did what he came to do and is doing a good job up in this league as well................the style of football isnt too terrible and he did stop at only 3 x 7 foot Africans .........im straight with Sam now he has bad points but he knows more about football than we do so just got to put our trust in him and he hasnt let us down yet.

Yep the boys coming home !! ..................he,ll never get back to the player he was injuries stopped him reaching his full potential........but it will be a massive lift for the club he,s well thought of in these parts......................come on Joe boy

Why do you feel sorry for us ? Because the great players this area has produced hasnt taken the local club to the top of the sport ?.........You show your glory hunter mentality even when you dont mean to Lurcher1 Most people who follow football respect the club for the players that its put out into the game..................Chelsea are European Champions,but are not respected at all......................................................you cant buy respect mate

Just to emphasise my point Wilf of how badly we treated the Lampard clan.......Harry as well...........have a little listen to this i used to go to these q & a meetings we all think we know better than our manager.........but how right was he.........no different to any other fans i guess we all think we know whats best for our club.......................if we knew then what we know now we would of treated this family with the respect they deserved.........( only my opinion of course....and i understand your feelings also )

Its a good point mate and your probably right.........as embarrassing as it is now i look back at the old days and it didnt matter much that this area didnt have great teams on the pitch between West Ham and Millwall we had respect nationwide for off the pitch activities......and that was so exciting the whole culture of football was fun and exciting back then........................today i guess its pure loyalty to the club and the manor for me.......after all theres not much to shout about on the pitch and im too old to be getting ironed out every other week ........................so yes y

Im saying the vast majority of West Ham supporters who go home and away are from or have a connection to this catchment area yes...............whether your " having that " or not really doesnt matter to me..........if you have been to this ground on a regular basis you wont need my input you,ll know yourself......if you havent and dont know yourself but your still not " having that "......well thats up to you.

Its not a massive issue mate dont get carried away ......for me a football club represents the area its from Hull represent Hull.......Cardiff represent Cardiff .....Charlton represent Charlton etc etc etc...............i dont understand why a Brummie would want to be represented by a London club or a Londoner represented by a Geordie club...............and on and on...................but its not a huge problem merely a talking point

We,re not talking about fan clubs we,re talking about supporters inside a football ground................... i say again,i rarely see or hear supporters of this club inside football grounds who dont have a connection with the area.......what am i telling lies ?? Ive been in Hammers bars on holiday in plenty of different places......Tenerife Hammers is a huge following for one.................Chelsea have a massive following in Cyprus....................but thats just what it is " a following "..........................not regular folk who do the motorways every saturday supporting their club.

You speak for a lot of people Wilf,you know yourself its an opinion that divides a lot fans......i have friends who think the same as you i just cant agree with it though.......loyalty is something fans have and players dont we just have to accept that......a spotty teenager working for Asda doesnt have a lifelong loyalty to the store just because they brought him through the door....if Tescos can offer him a better career i wouldnt hold a grudge.
