To be honest i think some things dont need proving history is there for all to see.........Theres a reason the West Ham/Millwall rivalry has been the subject of several well known films over the years ( muggy and embarrassing as some of them are )...........and id imagine theres also good reason why there hasnt been any about Sunderland,Blackburn etc .............ours might not be all that competetive on the pitch but its always been a blockbuster off it

Joe Calzaghe was the greatest fighter who ever lived .......And now,Newcastle v Sunderland is the biggest derby game in British football........Classics !! Just out of interest Max.....have you ever been to other derby games ?.....West Ham/Millwall ?......Wolves/West Brom ?.....Southampton/Pompey etc etc......just wondered if you actually have anything to compare to....................................................

Totally agree....id put Wolves/West Brom and maybe Southampton/Pompey in there as well...............for size you wont beat Liverpool/Man Utd but for hatred in everyday life and sheer intensity.....the ones youve mentioned definately

If you have good air circulation theres no reason to get fancy chemicals.......that sort of stuff will be for kennel blocks where air circulation is poor...........as has been said bit of disinfectant and good regular cleaning you shouldnt see a problem.

Reading about some of the horrifying conditions these pit fellas worked in and all the deaths/illness etc you would think folk would be happy to see the back of them !.....................Im not clued up on miners or politics so i dont have strong opinions but i think it shows folks true ignorance of a subject when they think because they have studied the history or read a book and got second hand info that somehow qualifies them to think their opinion is equal to somebody who has lived and breathed the subject ! Cant agree with that mate............the falling man picture is a poor comparison in my opinion......there was nothing the person taking the picture could do for that man.............the pictures we are talking about here were taken a few feet away......i dont know about you but i know i couldnt look down at a man screaming in agony and take his picture .....Professional or not ......Thats not professionalism thats just a cold heart in my book.

Mad isn't it. Seems to be the default setting these days though - something happens, and people grab a phone and take a pic/film - doesn't seem to matter what it is, or how inappropriate. I know they may get evidence and stuff from the pics, but really ? People thought the best think to do when 2 bombs have just gone off is to "take a pic" ? Interesting though isnt it, peoples reactions. I spent about 3 hours just watching the coverage the other night and there must have only been about 10-15 mins of news and the rest was just repeated.
