He,s a very good fighter Jimmy without a doubt ive just always felt Mcguigan has ulterior motives he was the publics sweetheart when he was fighting but he wasnt well liked by other fighters he had a " my shit dont stink attitude " and to be honest id question the motives of anyone who puts their own son in as a trainer and chief second of a top fighter just because he,s done a strength & conditioning course !.......Is he that arrogant he thinks Frampton doesnt need an experienced boxing trainer ? ....im all for looking after your family but thats going a bit far ( look at all that Freddie

Listening to some of these stories puts me in mind of an old saying i found out the hard way ....." Knives dont cut you.....people do ! " When we was in our late teens there was a big horrible c**t i used to run into from time to time.....big twitchy weird looking f****r used to walk about with a big overcoat on even in the summer !.....word was he had inside pockets in this big coat with all sorts of tools,he,d be sweating buckets but you,d never see him without this big coat on. I think you need to slow down a bit mate.....firstly i dont read ALL of your posts i dont know if you are an agnostic i admit i havent read the entire 90 odd pages im simply replying to a point you made that interested me....is that ok or do i have to know your inside leg measurement to direct a question at you ? Its ok this is not a court of law if you didnt say something you didnt say it thats ok conversations go like that sometimes. Couldnt agree with that...not yet anyway.....Mcguigan won a world title and defended it fair and square................i always felt he lacked heart but had great ability. I dont really pay much attention to the tiny weights is this Martinez the same guy Frampton beat last year for the European title ?.....If so how,s that worked out that he,s now fighting him for a world title ......seems a cushy little scenario !

Call me old fashioned........but rather than carrying a knife you would of been far better off with a good pair of trotters......to some people a fight is an opportunity not a challenge......carrying a knife tells me that to you survival is everything so whether its by talking your way out of it or getting on your toes why fight your own instinct just get out of there and dont stop to smell the roses ! -

Not being funny mate but ive lived and worked in north and east london all my life and I have never ever carried a knife or tool of any description what so ever.Sorry but in my eyes your as bad as anyone that carrys a knife. I call them wimps or cowards. I'd rather be called names than get into a problem and have someone pull a blade out of me and I've got nothing. I wouldn't have ever used it if it was just a fair fight. I'm not afraid of having a fight n getting a good kick in. I know I don't trouble anyone or do anything. It was just on me just incase. Maybe age was something to do with -

Yep thats a fair point......i tend to believe that ultimtately a sportsman gets what he deserves and very rarely does money or anything else stop the cream rising to the top....so for the very highest level of player ( Gazza/Beckham/Shearer in our case.... Dalglish/Souness/Law in your case ) they will get there regardless...........but as for the average pro i make you right,and the numbers seem to back that up.
