  1. Hertfordshire is way to posh, no way would someone from here be caught dead in PVC, Rubber or Latex! It would be pure Fur or Silk if it was someone from Hertfordshire.............. Cor yeah places like Hatfield,Watford,Stevenage......dead posh they are How dare you insult those little beacons of civilisation without which London would have no place to dump its surplus tribal populations of Filthy 3rd World Pond Scum from such wonderful London boroughs like Harringay, Hackney, Tower Hamlets or Barking & Dagenham!!! I didnt think they still used London as a middle man anymor

  6. If thats not good enough reason to keep someone in a looney asylum i dont know what is !......i mean, knocking cows over is the ultimate test for any man
  7. This is where different personalities come into it,i found competing the most repulsive part of bodybuilding it was so unnatural to me to be on stage yet plenty of folk with lesser physiques than mine would place higher through the way they came across on stage.....i met Ed Corney in the mid 90,s he had just won a Masters Olympia title at about 60 years old i remember looking at his physique thinking he,s not up to much......yet watching him pose was breathtaking even at 60.....i still think he was probably better on stage than anyone through history !......it made me realise when it comes to
  8. I dont delve too far into the different competitors these days mate so you,ll probably know more than me but ive seen Greene often look far too dry,as long as he hasnt tried to play the size game i think he stands a great chance his posing is a1 ....if im not wrong he was beating Heath right up until the close out in 2012 but i just think he has too much baggage so like you say politics will probably get Heath over the line......Big Ramy of course is another one to look out for in a straight square contest.....but the Olympia is never that so......
  9. Phil Heath is todays poster boy so he,ll probably win it.....whether he has the best physique who knows........if Kai Greene doesnt come in over conditioned he could take it,likewise Dennis Wolf has a great chance especially after winning the Arnold Classic in the manner he did..............but they,ll probably play it safe and go with Heath.
  10. The last one was funny but its starting to look/sound a teeny bit staged to me now.
  11. Doesnt matter if someone can speak English, have a clean record or what..............we should be in control of who and what we want here and select people based on what WE want/need.....not be dictated to who we allow into our own country.

My boy has got a form of adhd. With his medication he's a polite, focused lad who excels in school, without it his impulsiveness gets him into all manner of trouble. If giving him a little pill every morning is the difference between him failing his studies and getting the best start he can in life I'm all for it. As for the benefits and car, where do I sign up? Like anything im sure theres plenty of genuine cases......im also sure theres plenty who exploit the system we are currently in.......im all for medical research and improvements but along with that seems to of cropped up an inc

Oh i get what your saying i just presumed there would be psycology experts or what not making judgement but i suppose with that scenario put in front of a normal human being very few folk would get past selection.......id be out the back door i know that much !!

I just wondered if it was looked into at all.....makes sense to me that if Mr Smith selected 10 men who happened to top themself and Mr Jones selected 10 men who didnt then Mr Smiths selection process would need to be looked at.......im simplifying things for sake of argument of course but surprises me nothing like that is in place. There is no way that the instructor in training could be blamed for somebody topping themselves ... Basic training is just that BASIC ... It's designed to get a civilian to the basic requirements needed to join a regiment ... They get fit learn drill basic field

  19. Ive had a few Spars land on the aviary over the last week.......so much for them daft Owls with the twisty heads that you get out the garden centres they seem about as scarey as a chicken drumstick ! Wouldnt you need the perspex all the way round to make it effective.....or am i missing something.

Im just curious to know Socks......if a soldier tops himself after a traumatic event of this nature are any checks done as to who put him through the selection process ? Not that im making light of it but surely if a pattern was to emerge questions would have to be asked ?

but your saying that homeless people have stuff wrong with them but naughty kids with add ADHD etc etc are just sticking their hand out crying victim??? Come on I agree with the statement you made at first. And who have I kicked when down? When did i say homeless people " have stuff wrong with them " ?.....Until i engage someone in conversation i dont have a clue whats wrong with them,if i dont enage them in conversation its none of my business. Last year i gave a young lad from a family i know a job as he,s not a very bright young lad but seemed friendly enough.....wasnt much of a j

How on earth is a man down on his luck living rough on the streets the same as someone claiming benefit for having a naughty child or being a bit of a f**k up ? Besides which......i wouldnt give either of them a sly dig while they are down like you would

No, of course it's not exclusive to soldiers, I was just giving a well known example. PTSD has always been recognised(Shell shock, Battle fatigue etc etc), just not understood and historically not accepted because of this. Yeah, todays society does love a victim, but lets not let that feeling cause the genuinely ill to be neglected and labeled as chancers. And how do you tell the difference ? ......likewise with all these other new found illnesses what have we got now.... add, adhd, ptsd and whatever other psycho therapeutic social anxieties medicating 6 year old kids up to the eyeba

You never heard of Shell shock? The Falklands and Vietnam wars suffered just as much, largely unrecognised. Also I believe that the felt intensity of modern conflicts is considered greater than historical ones. To simplify that statement, Durring WWI and WWII the actual fighting was usually short lived and so the high levels of stress less impacting. In modern conflicts infantrymen in particular are in high stress life and death situations day to day. Even the relitive safety of forward bases suffering mortar attacks daily in some cases. Having a 100% professional military these days we ex
