    that's it , anybody shoot a gun , any young bloke wanting to make a name for him self more so on drugs , would take either of them gays out no prob , and they the krays wouldn't have been missed well not by me, and I was born in 1952 . my old chap was proper man had 4 kids , worked 60 hours a week 2 jobs, looking after us 4 kids , we came 1st him+ mom second that's a man to admire , not couple puffs tooled up with plenty back up , that's cowards .!! Bird they wasnt out to make their families proud they was out for fame and fortune.....which for a couple of not very bright

    Had my first one in a while the other day.....i tried all that cd lark,the bird scarer things none of them really worked...... i just begrudge limiting my view of the birds with netting/double wire and whatever else but prevention is better than cure i suppose.

    Must admit im not a big music fan but been listening to a bit of The Smiths lately.....Girlfriend in a coma and all that caper.......all a bit sameish but some catchy little numbers i quite like them

    Ive seen him boil down to 160 and then walk in the ring at only 165/166.....he could do 154 on a same day weigh in but would be much the smaller man in the ring if not..... he just doesnt have that structure to him he,s quite fleshy....... never have a six pack

    just read your edited to add..'Britains Gangland'...by Norman Lucas...published in 1969...a book i had as a kid...the whole Kray case was in it...it was all over the papers...and has continued to be through the 70's 80's 90's ect ect...everyone knows the Kray's story... You dont think the explosion of crime books in the 90,s was coincidental with the first wave of them about the Krays/Mclean etc then ?......not the odd book or paper report......the whole wave of crime books/films over the last 20 years you put at the feet of the media and not who is buying them ? Couldnt agree there mate

    No.....they trained together a number of times at the old Benjamin Franklin club in Canning Town and a few other gyms but never sparred.....the ol boy was a light heavyweight who ended up at cruiserweight.......Reg was a lightweight

    Well you,ve obviously read more about them than me i have no idea about some of those stories all i know is what ive been told by people of the generation and the area who knew them well enough to have an opinion.......describing people i dont know as " horrible " is something id reserve for kiddy fiddlers but each to their own i guess we all walk our own path and knowing the area like i do and experiencing the very back end of the post war poverty in these parts i can see how folk of a certain standing would do whatever it took to obtain wealth at anothers expense as they were dog eat dog tim

    rebel you know yer stuff in fairness,I do know the man your on about,spent a few years with him....another famous road bowler was the late Dennis Scully,a neighbour and decent man,Its not as easy as it looks believe me,and any prize money is hard earned, I reckon the rule book would be a fascinating read i cant work out in my head what they would involve.....what happens when a ball go,s off the road/lane......thats where the line is drawn and thrown from again i presume ? A nice ten miler on the M25 would suit me better

    Yes but Ireland is a country with non travelling people making up the large majority why would it matter if two travellers where fighting in Ireland ? Because a lot of traveller people were claiming it was going to be a massively supported event in a packed out stadium.........and it wasnt......simple. you/they got something wrong its not the end of the world......infact as a fight in a boxing ring go,s personally i think its a far better fight in England.

    As a fan of football you have to visit the iconic sights in the game.....and keep taking pictures of the same things over and over again Legend is a much over used word these days.....but in this case how else could you describe him.

    Its great reading this sort of stuff it plays out like a soap opera,first few pages i was riding the punches with the lad feeling like putting my arm round him to protect him from the baddies......then by about page 6 he started getting on my nerves and i just wanted to mess his hair up.......now im sat on the fence i cant wait for his next move just to work out if i love or hate him ......brilliant ! Good luck to you Brooklin i cant offer you much advice other than your at a good age to get into all this shit your young brain will soak up information like a sponge so make the most of it

    Spent how many years banged up? god knows why anyones attracted to that. Pretty much an advert for why not to do crime rather than making it glamorous. I certainly wouldnt call it admiration but i have a healthy respect for any man who pulls himself out of the gutter and creates a better life for themself......the Krays were an extremely poor not particularly intelligent pair of brothers who used the only quality they had to obtain wealth.......maybe in todays times they could of just held their hand out and signed on the dole to get brand new cars ! It just amuses me some of the word
