Joshua is a pure competitor he would of fought for the world title on his debut if allowed to......but thats not sensible is it......sensible is taking as much time as necessary to learn your trade so that when the time comes for a world title shot you are perfectly prepared and have the best possible chance.......8 years in Fury,s case. As a one off achievement going to Germany and winning against the odds was remarkable and Fury deserves every credit.......but would he of done that half way through his apprenticeship ? no of course he wouldnt......Joshua didnt really have that choice....
-
How do you work that out ?.......If either of them have had an easy time its Fury.......Fury didnt have the weight of expectation of an Olympic medal hanging round his neck.......after 32 rounds of pro boxing Joshua was pushed into a world title fight......after 32 rounds of pro boxing Fury was still being allowed to learn and develop knocking over cab drivers he was given the best part of 8 years to get to the same stage of his career Joshua was pushed to in 2 years........ Fury is a gypsy warrior who has been fighting since he was in the cot hasnt he ?.....Joshua was 18 years old before he e

I only saw the highlights but looked like a belter......hard venue to beat for an evening European tie hopefully they go on to win it.

I cant see it.....he will know in his heart whether he is shot or not and if he doesnt think he is then what would be the point of taking the fight and doing what he did last time ?.......i dont think any fighter likes to end their career on a sour note theres losing and theres not showing up as a true competitor i think he will want to go out on his shield....likewise it wouldnt surprise me one bit if at some point we see Pacquiao throw a challenge out to Mayweather for the exact same reason.

Had them pans ages for melting me lead Oh well thats different i thought they was for silly things like cooking food !
-
I think you are probably right mate its strange ive seen fighters get old right in front of my eyes but he looked old from the first bell......lets hope it was just Fury making him look bad and Klitcsko comes out positive next time but the same thing happens.

Yes but should it of been bred to be like that ? Yes because it's a pet that has to integrate with a family from kids to the elderly ........ At the expense of all of its natural instincts ?......and for our pleasure ?
-
So with that in mind.....had that dog defended itself it could really be looked at as a bad dog not in line with what we have created ?.......can you see what im getting at ?......we have bred dogs to be how we want them to be.............obviously im playing a bit of devils advocate here but i just find a huge amount of hypocrisy in the whole pet dog mans best friend type thing. To purposely breed dogs over many years to be totally submissive in any situation and to have absolutely no natural instinct for survival whatsoever......i just dont think i could do that.

Oh i dont make you wrong i agree.....im just saying i cant respect a dog that could be dominated like that......but then im not a dog lover i love certain dogs and dont like others so i can see how folks would get upset Can't really see what respecting the dog or liking certain types of dogs has to do with this tbh?? I don't like cats particularly but I'd still be disgusted to watch a cat being abused in this way ( I clicked on the vid and turned it off after, 10 secs, I don't need to watch shit like that). I guess i just dont particularly like pet dogs in general.....cats tend to be surviv

If Klitscko is washed up what then becomes the greater victory.......beating a relatively untested young unbeaten prospect like Joshua did....or beating a decorated world champion has been like Fury did ? Only when Fury/Klitscko draw hands again will we really be able to guage the size of the accomplishment Fury has made......personally i hope Klitscko comes out and has a go this time.......and Fury irons him right out....then it leaves no doubt that Fury has made a great accomplishment and Joshua can be hot on his tail trying to do the same.

Ive just explained it....read it back slowly......by the way people who do genuinely know a lot about something generally dont need to say " i know a lot " You come across as an obsessive fan which is fine each to their own.....i follow West Ham like a lunatic so i know what fanatical support is about......not sure i could be that way with another man but like i say each to their own.......but dont try to mug people off with knowledge that isnt there i could talk about football all day i dont try to pretend im tactically competent though because people who are would see straight through i

It may well be that you never see Joshua go 12 rounds.......he has a mindset that i really admire in todays times he truly believes that if two 17/18 stone men cannot hurt each other then theres something wrong.....its a high risk strategy but one that in todays times of the greatest physical conditioning in the history of sport........is not far off the mark.....yes its a boxing match but shouldnt the most powerful men in the sport really be able to hurt each other.......Joshua is a throwback he just wants to have a fight he doesnt see it as safety first keep out of trouble he wants a shoot o

At the risk of getting called a load of school playground names......who on earth do you think you are to be telling anyone they dont know boxing and you do .....you are the most naive person to regularly write on these boxing threads !! Let me give you a word of advice.....and its free .....ive had a few folk have a pop at me on here because i dont talk about hunting very much........and the reason i dont is that i dont take people for idiots,if i sat here typing away about my hunting knowledge the genuine hardcore hunters amongst us would see straight through my bullshit......i know 10

I couldnt have that................................................theres f****n pots and pans everywhere !

I dread to think what you would have done if it had been a child and not a dog.....killed them twice ? ......obviously they was horrible little c**ts who deserve what they get but i couldnt respect a dog like that just sitting their accepting its fate how mentally weak must a dog be to have no self preservation whatsoever.

If somethings done out of culture, tradition or sport then i can see reason to it.......but that just looks a pointless waste of life to me.

Joshua really is just a straight acting kid no frills and tassles he doesnt fall into all the silly stuff that is popular with fighters these days he has the mindset that if he is good enough he will get there and if he,s not he wont......he,s just a street kid chasing his dreams but not willing to degrade himself in doing so i admire that......like many of us boxing gave him a focus when he was destined for a life of crime Johnny Oliver took him in and worked with him at Finchley and he has gone from strength to strength not just as a young athlete but as a man.......where he has come from,th

Well in chief....not a rugby fan myself but always good to see strong healthy youngsters pushing themself in pursuit of their competetive goals.

Tried to pm you Stan but it wont let me for some reason......is it just a kit the team need or continual funding over a season ?
-
I tried it once years ago and just spent the next 24 hours asleep ......i like to think its because my impeccable highly tuned physique couldnt cope with it.....but its probably more likely im just a bit of a girl around drink/drugs

Same.....i find people on that stuff draining they just seem to suck all the zest out of you they are liabilities i cant be doing with them.
