Never mind them nice grass fields,i'l get ye out with me some night and we can show them dogs of your's some proper work hope your fit :yes: And that show yesterday was full of workers ,sure they didn't even bother with a working class for the terriers because all the dogs that entered it where the same dogs that where put up for the final -

Never even heard or seen of 1 of these before,what wold be the sence in it ,to harden up a bedlington or calm down the wheaten,i reckon most will be too big to go to ground and some wouldn't have tools to do the job a wheaten does

Well i had no terriers to work so it suited me down to the ground and got a couple of days organised out while i was up there win win situation pal ,how bad .I couldn bring my ugly c**ts to a show at the best of times never mind mid season.Did you get a look in with your lurchers pal ,fine dogs they are too ah i done ok me lurcher got a 1st in the rough overs and me lakey dog got champion terrier so happy days glad to see a working terrier winning pal ,which lurcher got first ,was it the pup or the older lurcher the older bitch Brain

They follow the sika from Japan but i wish the lazy b*****ds would swim just across the water to Ireland.it's not even 1/2 as far

a pup needs a to be kept at it for a while so a 12/13 mths old starting out looking about and watching other dogs will be a nice age to start them selves just before or after Christmas and get a few digs under it's belt before it's summer break and if the bitch has had a good season so far keep her at it ,if she is only 3 1/2 she can only be at most in her 2nd working season so she only has 1 full season of work so far and if ye give her a summer litter you can give her a couple of mths break before pupping her and a lot easier on the young pups to be getting their feet in the summer months

If you where going for a 1st cross i would pick the legyest racey pup

mate would you not wait for her summer heath and then breed her ,you will miss out on the end of the season if you breed her now and if she has a summer litter the pups will be near enough the right age to start the following season,it's up to yourself but that's what i would do

Nice dogs mate thanks mate How tractable/biddable do you find the collie/wheaten mix compared to the collie x.............cracking bitch by the way. Thanks pal,well i have a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie dog as well ,they work in a very similar way but the wheaten x does seem to have that extra bit of keenees there at times ,but both my wheaten x bitchs have great temperment and a pleasure to work barr having a tired arm at the end of a lamping session ,they are constantly up on their back legs when there is something at the end of the beam,the bitch in the big pic is wheaten/greyhound x -
