    any thing is better than living in an animal spca them wankers dont know wats good for the animal they cant even manage a walk so why did you have the lspca in your house drinking tea so the ones in the west are wankers and the one beside you are dead on. i see he hasn't replied back yet Busy making tea :laugh:

    he'll be the type you have to keep on a lead. dont think stock breaking will do him any good. if he is like any wheaten or bull i had years ago. they would grab the first thing that got close to them. i know he will all ways need to be watched but if he gets no stock breaking i might aswell leave him at home

    they can be good for out mooching and hanging around the hole while digging ,they can work well on the lamp if ye know their limits ,they can't handle as many runs as your average lurcher,i have seen a few over run and have to be carried back to the van and i seen one that a lad started lamping and mooching at about 9 mths old that was a good worker but when he took it to the track to give her the 1st time trail she tryed to cut the hare off and broke her leg on a rail

    I have a 1st x bull wheaten pup here ,he is 11 weeks old and in a few weeks i will have him out around stock as much as possible

    not if the are stock broke correctly ,they are not collie xs and need to be more dedicated into sock breaking them

    My wheaten xs never have any problems with terriers out working but would never pen them with a terrier just incase but the 1st x bull wheaten pup ,he will be penned on his own from around 6mths old ,i have him in with the whippets at the moment so he will get used to being with other dogs because i will need him to work with dogs and not show them aggression ,and if he works out hopefully he will be my base for my next lurchers , with the grace of god i won't need for a few years yet

    Both cracking dogs u got the mate they good all rounders ? i don't use them for hare coursing but lamping ,ferreting ,bushing and around the hole while digging they suit me and i'm delighted with them

    I am fond of both types but i favour the wheaten xs ,i have seen good and bad in both xs ,there is not much difference in their working ability they suit the same sort of work but i prefare the coat on the wheaten xs ,they dont show as many war wounds

    Never pen a lurcher and terrier together ,you could have the most plasit lurcher going but all it takes is for a terrier to piss it off one day and you will have trouble and beleave me if a terrier is true to it's nature one day it will piss a lurcher off

    Red Mills engage ,venison raw chicken and beef boiled chicken and beef from the chineese and i get the left over veg from a local veg shop give some to the horses and the rest i blend into a soup and give it to the dogs

    well mate if i am reading it right the dam is 1/2 bull 3/8 ghound and 1/8 whippet and with the sire being 3/4 ghound 1/4 bull will make the pups 3/8 bull 1/16 whippet and 9/16 greyhound but it doesn't really work like that ,some of the pups could show a lot of bull in their make up some alot of ghound and some might even show alot of whippet so i would call them lurcher x lurcher
