what about weather conditions was it a still night ? wind direction it could be a number of things

i get a pound for marked rabbits 1.50 for netted both skinned and gutted not a good price really when you consider the quality of meat as others have said about the upsurge in eating healthily

sorry this reply is a bit late in the day i like to have my rabbits removed quickly from the net is due to the amount of damage the net recieves with rabbits chewing there way free

IMHO i would rather use a normal net than a trammel especially at night just for ease of removing the rabbits from the net

to get close to your quarry you need good fieldcraft but i draw the line at mr grumpy slippers good bit of kit there mate just sold mine to finance another project could'nt fault it in the 5 years i owned it
