  3. Good thread, Interesting to see different attitudes to working terriers. Two stories to provide food for thought. 1. When we starting out digging went digging with a man who had a pack of footbeagles and some foxhounds and a assortment of Russell types ~ meant to be great terriers to ground ~ was considering buying a some pups of him. Terrier to ground around four foot, no real urgency to dig ~ had me scratching me head. after 20 minutes of talking about digging we started to open up got about a foot down stop digging for a chat about a previous great dig, dug another foot ~ ano

  20. Its a Wheaten for me. seems lot harder to get Glen's from the right lines for work, only a small amount of people working them now. A lot of lads still keep working wheaten lines to cross them back to hounds to breed lurchers out of them so more of them about. Voon.
