  2. Yes she run tomorrow but has she the heart.
  3. Hopefully the final will be good, reports have that the rounds have been mixed and caused some controversy with the judging. A little bitch, Africa looked a decent sort but broken in the quarters, rock hard plough, so might not feature.
  4. Change your password to something u won't remember like random numbers then log out. Simples.
  5. Doing ok ?. Struggling to get enough for the youngster, Doing a lot of walking but not getting the runs.
  6. To update the cause of the breakdown of the muscle cells is due to a build up of calcium ions The transport system that normally more it across the cells membrane breaks down during extreme exercise. If it builds up beyond a certain point it causes the membrane to break down killing the cell and releasing it contents. The more cells damaged the more serious the rhabdomyolysis. The remains of the dead cells are scavenged over the following days hence the muscle loss.
  7. Damage to the heart causes a backlog of fluid on the lungs, in humans its called congestive cardiac failure.
  8. I've no lurchers but as I approach my 60th birthday this year I've a couple of decent sorts and looking forward to the future, over 50 years with running dogs and still keen to hop over a gate ?
  9. Might help if your visiting isolated populations, also would need to clean your boots as well. "RVHD is spread between rabbits by direct contact and through all bodily fluids (blood, urine, faeces, saliva). The virus is very stable in the environment; it can survive for more than 100 days at room temperature and longer if it is cold. The virus particles are also resistant to freezing." from Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease in rabbits | FirstVet FIRSTVET.COM Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (RVHD) is a highly contagious and usually fatal

  13. It was a good enough worker, got me a few odd looks one day at work when an old farmer who'd had been admitted to the ward proudly stated to the whole place that "that nurse has got the best deer dog in Devon," lol. Alas PTS, bad enough wanted to kill every dog but when it started looking a people same way it was time to to say goodbye. Wheaten/grey to bull/grey
  14. Isn't it just common sense that different dogs with different breeding mature at different rates ? I've had an 8 month wheaten cross bump into a fox on an evening empty and it fecking mullered it but I'd be very surprised if one of the Galgos did the same, more likely play with it. As to exercising away from game, I remember exercising one of my racing greys in a good safe hare free field..... two hares later carrying it home with rhabo to follow. Get them out sensibly young and look to be a bit careful but expect the unexpected and deal with the outcomes. If they're written off

  18. The best strains always come from home ? although I think he states his Syrian dogs are better suited to the open ground of his homeland than where he is.
  19. My preference would be to stand on his bollocks ?
  20. Likely a viral gastroenteritis easily spread, parvo is one such, although this seems less serious, fluids rest and a bland diet when symptoms settle. Vets if becoming serious. Electrolytes may help if used sensibly. Clear up all faeces throughly to reduce cross infection, isolate is possible. Many are transmissible to humans so use sensible precautions.
