Have I the right name on him,Timmy Merle?twas a long time ago.I met you on the same weekend at a show,B plummer was there,Jack Charlton, and the man I was with from Speen,Newbury Berks.Tony was his name and he knew you well.He was associated with Tames Valley Society.I have very happy memories from that weekend away.! st time I was ever away from me mammy and it was surely an epic journey for me.
  2. I was 19 years old at the time and there were a few gamefairs I was going to attend so I decided to hold off in case I saw something else, which i did and heres the result, also there were a lot of bitches rearing pups at the one time and it put me off just a little. collie/g.houndXsaluki/g.hound. we spent 10 happy fruitfull years together. I have to say David was a very nice and most accomodating person,I drank my first cup of coffee at his table and am drinking it ever since, lol.(which has nothing whatsoever to do with the topic )
  3. K Valey that was back in the early 's and cameras were a rare thing back then, lol. She was a pain in the arse to keep as she would fight at the drop of a hat.Would I have one just like her again,?I dont think I could stick her now but she was a very decent working animal, but as you'd expect she spent a lot of time in sick bay.
  4. The staffy was 1/2 english bull,1/4 pit and 1/4 staff, very placid bitch.death on legs though for any vermin quarry.
  5. I had a few goat steaks tonight and they tasted very nice but a little chewy.I left them hang in the chill fridge for a few days before I processed them.just wondering if any one might have a few suggestions as to make em more tender.Any other recepies bar CURRY,I ferkin hate curry  There was nothing wrong with it just thought there may be other ways of dealing with goat meat.

  8. why is there a cartridge next to a flash lite,is it a customised 410 or what,lol.
  9. I feed my salukis, pasta and sardines in sunflour oil,a fist of redmills and lots of flesh,ie:throttles, goats, rabbit, chicken carcasses every evening, cooking oil added and I might as well be pouring it down the toilet the difference it makes but their full of energy and thats what matters.
  10. ooops I think a sit down and a chat with delonpara is necessary Delonpara, its illegal(not allowed) in our country im afraid so I would expect the answer to your question would be a resounding no.
  11. Ive had 2 people lately stop me in the street and comment on how hungry the black saluki I have is.I feed her very well and exercise her every day but she does look malnourished.Shes wormed and I give her plenty of fats with her grub but I reckon shes just a naturally skinny frame. It can be a bit embarrasing at times though.
  12. Nice pics IL,your a dab hand with the camera.
  13. For me it has to be down town brixton, with its urban jungle, its native wild life and the smell of putrid chickens from the open air market  every step you take is an adventure in itself and self preservation is your utmost aim.furk BEAR GRILLS hes just a pussy.Where the smog is like soup and the noise of the passing trains is awe inspiring the diversity of species is .........DIVERSE. 17. F Lanersa, theres no pack horse born yet that could walk where I go,the thing I dread is if I twist or break an ankle,id never be found for days Whin none of my dogs will look at the goats,I have them broken to sheep and they cant make out what to do with them plus the dogs cant run up there anyway with fallen trees, ridges lumps of limestone and tall grasses.Carregs I was only kiding(boom boom)go to see the ladies up for a bit of sport. My missus wouldnt get out of the van up there never mind handle a dead one.
  18. P K,I can at any point do that, but I think shooting a tiny kid is very distastefull, now shooting a medium to decent sized kid, well thats a different matter.I have the farmers very happy and in the next few weeks I'll get into them again big time.Carrigs its hard when your cross eyed answer the question, have YOU shot a few in yer time, lol.
  19. I took some saddle from the freezer from an immature female yesterday and to be honest theres more flesh on my fiveskin I cut what I could off of it and am going to pan fry it tommorow.I must remember to ask their ages before i shoot them next time carrigs Have you shot a few in yer time by any chance?I spoted what I thought (and still think)was a very young nanny but it was preggers for certain.Theyre droping kids all over the place at the moment.
  20. Thanks scent, lol. The ould age is geting on top of me.
  21. I dont eat them much but the young ones are really nice and tasty Lab,its just the smellie billys you wouldnt even want to handle.
  22. Nice animal john. What more can ye do,breed from tried and tested stock and fingers x'ed the pups turn out decent enough.
  23. I tried to sort out one or two things on this post but i ferked it up,freem she cost a bloody fortune, lol wetdogsbollix ye messer.JD theres a ton of kids out and some are 2-3 weeks old.I couldnt believe it when I saw them allready. This is why im reluctant to shoot any.The farmers are going to go ferkin apeshit now that the herd is expanding again but I hate shooting them when the young are tiny.I am shooting billys from here on in.I tell ye you have to admuire them though, they are as tough as they come.Living up so high and eating mostly shity grass, cold winds and hated by most of the locals.
