  2. I was in your home a few times with your dad many years ago,we had a bull/greyhound off of him also.Parklands in urlingford I recall was the area it was called.Wellcome to the site and nice dogs.

Hes able to mind himself allrite scent but never is he nasty or rude to anyone,yeah hes quiet capable of leting me have it allrite.....he just doesnt know it yet and god help him if he ever decides to try it on with me,i'll introduce him to my bulldog shovel hes a good lad really,nice and mannerly,just as it should be.

My mother died only 2 and 1/2 weeks ago,on my death bed I can rest easy I was with her every night for 3 months solid,did all that could be done so no regrets other than loosing her.She had 9 strokes and a heart attack in 2 months.On the day my 3 kids looked and acted superb,was very proud of them even though they were distraught loosing their nan

  8. very relevant post,I buried my mother only last Tuesday,im still shattered shes gone even though she was ill for a few months.She had 9 strokes and a heart attack in 3 months.We were extremely close.Lost my father from asbestosis from his job 6 yrs back.In the last 2 years I was with her every night of every week as she never liked being alone for long since my father died.Appreciate everything your parents do/did for you,they dont last forever.

  13. my first impressions of these deerhounds were SOOOO WRONG I thought they wouldnt be THAT fast and nubile,but be jesus when they open up theyre fliers,and they can turn well for a big dog.When they get the right slip JP you will not be dissapointed
  14. Malt,there the ones as thats the only litter Shanehound bred in that period of time,he does produce some fine speciemens in fairness to him though,looking forward to reading more on his exploits in the future.
  15. INLA its a pure deerhound not a X,just like his dad,fine dog.You get up to much with him?I believe the rest of the litter have proven to be very capabale in lots of different ways.keep us posted on his life and times.
  16. my kelpie x greyhound did exactly the same thing,barking her head off while chasing my other dogs when young,I too was seriously concerned but it never came to anything.Put it down to the exuberance of youthfullness,shes as silent as the night now when runing :victory:
