  1. a bitches season can last 21 days, they start to bleed stop around day 14-18 this is when they are ready to breed, i have had a bitch breed on day 27 total accident o/h let them out kennel together
  2. get some golf balls every time he whines chuck them at the kennle so it rattles how I sorted my lab out that would bark, even after water, e collar, etc
  3. when we were in full swing my labs were out working 6 days a week up in the Yorkshire wolds, some shoots i was beating some picking up, and they were brill, I have one bitch I use for rabbit shooting and she will peg runners, as for stamina and drive, the father to my bitches, swam a half a mile lake to pick up a winged goose, and never gave up a good working lab will have plenty of drive and stamina
  4. hi guys the units im building are a rifle mounted and we've just made a spotter so you dont need lamps at all, we are putting both through there paces at the moment, but for the two units you will be looking at £550
  5. we've built our own and are in the middle of patent something else, according to un biased testers ours its better and will be cheaper, we shot a fox last night at 150yards clean kill and rabbits at 100yards, also slightly more compact

  7. the problem we have is kids with no clue going on with there dog, running there dog at anything that moves, and making everything so blooming lamp shy,
  8. last year on the stubbles over 4 fields we shot close to 1000 rabbits we were going out and getting 50 a night, this year we have one farm that rabbits have eaten 2 arces of wheat, but due to people going on without permission and even less of a clue what that there doing these rabbits are so lamp shy the side lights of the landrover spook them, just made a night vision so hoping to pick them off now, and farmer has finally agreed to let us on after harvest is off so we can clear some of them up
  9. we have one field near us that must have 50 rabbits on but my god there hard to catch actually in the field, you can go for days and not see one, then go the next and them all be out!

"Earth" I have passed on your problem with NOBS to the CEO if you could PM me your estate we will sort this out! and also NOBs is the only insurance that covers you for beating, check out Sporting Gun october issue 2011 where NOBS came out so far ahead. please dont dismiss NOBS due to a £5 joining fee you get so much for your money! we will have stands at most of the Gamefairs so pop along and see what were about, I will be at Selby Game fair on the stand

  13. I have a few types of calls I tend to use the electric calls to bring them in from a distance then change to the wham to once there 200-300 yards away I tend to vary my calls as I have found some foxes will get used to the same call and not come in to it
  14. I know its £5 but it really works and if you take £20 you get insurance to been a member for 7years you get loads of requests they have filled over 1500+ spaces this season alone!

  16. just out of interest how much is a farm with outbuildings and 7.5acres. to bloody much, the house is in need of total revamp due to some twats breaking in and ripping all pipes and lead up, but just lets say i wont have much change left from £200k

  20. if your planning on selling meat you will have to be Registered’ with or ‘Approved’ by your local Environmental Health Department who will wish to be satisfied that the facilities are suitable and safe for use for this purpose. also all animals have to be slaughtered at a slaughterhouse price depending on the animal, you will also need a movement certifcate but there easy to get Im just looking at moving to farm with 7.5acres + outbuildings it used to be an old growers place great for growing, but as Im from farming back ground will also have livestock- calfs from mate for beef, pigs prob
