    Hopefully the perpetrators who carried out the attack had distinctive dogs that andy can recall,its normally someones dog lurchermen can recall rather than the owner,leastways it is with me,glad he is recovering and the incident ended relatively well for him,sadly it could have been a lot worse,those two guys need stopping before the attacks escalate.

    Flying Lesson

    I have had quite a few microlight lessons,its more primitive flying than an aeroplane,its like seat of your pants exhilaration,but i just did a paramotoring flight and landed less than an hour ago,absolutely incredible,the silence below the canopy was fantastic,truly like being a bird,and the landing was like the best rollercoaster ride ever but in total silence.

    this was outside a cockfighting place,there were four fowl statues beside one of those tiny little worship places where offerings and incense sticks always burn.

    There used to be a fantastic old guy on here,very good vocabulary and turn of phrase,he lived in ireland,he liked trapping mink,he did a real golden oldie thread on the state of his feet,i think he had something similar to trenchfoot?The pics of his feet were something else

    We were skint,we were kids,but we had one of those square lamps rigged up to a car-battery in an old haversack padded out with an old coat so it didn't skin the small of our back as we trudged mile after mile,the battery got heavier and heavier as the night wore on,battery acid eroded the haversack and our clothes alike,but we had a lot of fun and even managed to catch stuff with our second-rate dogs that we thought were legends

    I was just coming out of Central Festival 30 minutes ago and he was coming out with a guy equally as large and tattoo'd,looks like the rumours of him being run out of town by the cops were unfounded.

    I never asked mate,it just drew my attention as i was looking at his huge alien/predator creations,an incredible eagle,and loads of stuff that wouldn't look out of place in a H.R.Giger sketchbook,he is a very talented guy,but selling his stuff from a tiny market booth.Its chatuchak market General,I went there for the cockfights which i missed,so i had a wander around till my thai mate turned up and we went to watch the fish fights.

    I went a few stalls down and saw a far more unusual full-sized warthog.

    I had a wander down to the market,the stall was looking for used to sell all different sorts of interesting skins,this time he had some under the counter tiger claws for sale,and some really nice skulls and a few taxidermist birds.

    I was totally wrong,a few decent stunts and Ray Winstones dodgy accent which vacillates between cockney and yank even in the same sentence can't quite cover the holes in the plot,point-break should have been titled point-less,shoddy remake of what is a classic original.

    I had a stun gun once,i wonder what it feels like?Did exactly what he did,zapped myself just to test it,shocking experience.I saw a stun-gun the other day disguised as an iPhone.

    Jeans guest house in sunderland,its in roker i think,it costs about 35 quid a night,cheaper for long stays,my mate takes his shags there (hope his wife doesn't read this) so it might get quite noisy on saturday nights.

    I will hoy something in the pot,I will be back before christmas so i will do it then.The lads who committed the crime had lurchers,there are a small minority of wrong'uns in the fieldsports world sadly,but this thread also shows there are some lads who are salt of the earth.
