    Actually trying to get a visa for Bhutan in November,what a palaver,cant just go to the Bhutanese consulate in Guildford you have to go through an official travel agent,its peak season so a minimum spend of $250 a day plus $40 a day as a solo traveller

    I have a house abroad,when I first bought it I used to watch the tokay gecko's hunting smaller gecko's near the flouro lights on the ceiling,one day I saw one on the wall and grabbed it,it was gnawing on my hand and drew blood,never grabbed one again.

    Loads of canals in Bangkok,wander down them,you see monitors everywhere,i have seen turtles,python and cobras as well in the past,i put a pic on here 4 or 5 years ago of a monitor in central Bangkok eating a bullfrog,cant find the pic though?

    Always liked reptiles and amphibians,spent an afternoon looking for snakes and lizards in Bangkok earlier in the year,inner-city monitor lizards.
