  1. I got the rimfire magic one as E Brooks was not responding. Original trigger is ok, but way too heavy! Will have a go at fitting.
  2. Thanks Deker............ So, if it feels good to me, then that's ok!
  3. Have a trigger kit to fit to my CZ452. I've felt a few good triggers in my time, but can anyone describe how a good trigger SHOULD feel, preferrably with a good description of every stage. Cheers.
  4. Thanks Steve, small order placed. I will try these on the difficult moles and post results!
  5. I did it with my film EOS a long while back, I think you are meant to use mirror lock up or "bulb" fuction. Here you go..... http://www.weatherscapes.com/techniques.ph...;page=lightning
  6. Do a search, there was lots on the hatsan.
  7. Having recently completed DSC1, I thoroughly recommend it to anyone new to stalking. Covers disease, ballistics, Identification, management, meat handling etc. Very good.
  8. £40 was a bargain! You cant diagnose a leak until you pressure it up.
  9. £250 for training and £ for assesment, sounds almost affordable doesnt it. Wait till it's law, it will shoot up! This wont only affect Scotland, it will end up in England! I could also affect other types of shooting. http://www.basc.org.uk/en/media/key_issues...BC2779C631C16A0
  10. Last time I saw Jeff was at a country show with a mole puppet .....I listened for a bit, but couldn't take it any more. Ref the trapman advert ........ those dufus lookalikes dont look good at all. Why would a pro mole catcher allow links to fake traps?
  11. BASC operates safe shot assesments at game fairs for a fiver - fair price i'd say! Someone has to be paid to teach. At the end of the day, it depends which organisation suits your circumstances. Have to agree that BASC are cruising close to influencing the licencing system. Basic training could easily be made free.
  12. I'm with BASC, were very rapid with help when I needed it. Plenty of people ready to slate them on here though. ....and damn right people should have some sort of training before owning a gun!
  13. Same for me tonight, saw 4 different foxes and one rabbit....ground used to be heaving with rabbit. Came away empty handed, all too far for the 12 bore.
  14. Mine have flowered too ......... how do you get the seeds to grow??? ..........JD, your inbox is full..........
  15. Ford prices already raised twice this year with more to come. BBB, your focus is a baby, my 98 mondeo 1.8 now had 160k on the clock ...... it's dull but it does most things!
  16. Mod totally transformed the shooting on my .243 ........ was an evil loud beast with a nasty recoil, now a pleasure to shoot.
  17. Just wondering what you think of it. As I understand it, you take your old banger in and get a 2k discount off a new car!! Brilliant! ......... except..... Who can actually afford to fork out for a new car? ...... Not me, thats for sure! Who funds the scrappage scheme so the better off can have a new car?? ......Errr, that's my income tax! What happens to the old car (pre 1999) .... It gets crushed!!! Remember, they could and will be lovely clean examples with tens of thousands of miles left to go! Who'd appreciate having one? ........ That'll be me then!! Which leads me back to
  18. First two articles should interest most of us. Nice to see the Government making more of a hash of our rural lives. :wankerzo4: http://www.countryside-alliance.org.uk/
  19. I think he meant kill a rabbit without obliterating it, and kill a fox without wounding.
  20. Crossman 2240 suits me .... hell of a crack to it though!
  21. If the shark loves him so much, why is it in "bite mode" in most shots??
