  9. A dilema indeed....... Easy answer though after giving it much thought! Get rid of the wife Tony Junior beat me to it, but he has used good logic
  10. Welcome to the THL Archie In a word 'yes' pop the rifle in a solid workbench or dedicated gun rest at your chosen zero range. Check the zero of the scope if spot on then switch on the laser and adjust while looking through the scope til the dot is on the crosshair. Tony
  11. Thats what I meant about the mints at meters, very few of us, if any (apart from Si) is gonna be able to smash the mints into the piles of sugar they are made from. Not only are Si's Marksmanship skills Amazing, his range finding skills are superb as well. At the 1st meet I attended, I asked Si how far that chalk patch on the side of the hill was. He said something like 585 meters or so. I put my range finder on it and I think he was only about 3meters out the LRF said 588 Meters! Man I wish I could be that accurate, especially over new land! Tony
  12. Looks like things are comming together for you Si And the TA couldn't ask for a better trainer than you. Get the feeling your gonna enjoy the rest of your time there Take care my friend Tony
  13. The good shots can shoot ants, and the not so good shots can shoot wasps Yeah but it takes an excellent shot to shoot a wasp whilst under attack from said wasp with an empty gun and still splatter the wasp all over the kitchen The good shot has the advantage of the sugar holding the ants in place
  14. Si, the luck Gary's been having with his shooting of late, I was expecting the daft bugger to drill through into his finger. You okay buddy? Tony
  15. And the Ants and other insects will be made up with all the smashed up minty sugar (if anyone other than you can do it) lol Tony
  16. I have no doubt as to the accuracy of the Ultra Si Unfortunately I cant view the video due to it being rather large, but I know the Accuracy of the rifle and I know your own markmanship skills I'll watch the vid when I have more credit Tony

  20. Was it last year or the year before when I was shooting in the cemetery on Halloween? Most replies were "You wouldn't get me in there at night" I had a crowd of kids at the gates gawping at me lol. Think I'll put my belt on my hip with the Beretta 92 in the holster and the CZ 75-D in the waist band and watch as they hand over their goodies to me Tony
