Snoop mate can you do me a favour please.Get in your motor, check the trip counter, then drive at 10 mph for 30 mins, then check the trip counter again.Tell us the results.please Edited because i've only just seen snoops last post ,you cheeky fecker. 10 mph=10 miles in 60 mins (average speed) thats 1 mile very 6 mins (10 divided by 10 =1,60 divided by 10=6) thats 1 mile every 6 mins 5x1 =5 miles,5x6=30 mins, thats 5 miles in 30 mins RESULT IS 10 MILES PER HOUR. Snoop don't apply for the Krypton factor

I aint totally bald, just got a bit at the back that the kids reckon looks like the chickens arse perhaps i could try rubbing the ep oil onto me bald bit
-
RIGHT IF IT TOOK YOU 60 MINS TO DO 5 MILE =5 MPH AND THEN YOU DONE THE SAME DISTANCE IN HALF THE TIME WOULD IT NOT MEAN YOU DONE IT TWICE AS FAST =10 MPH 60 MINUTES TO DO 5 MILE, YOU DIVIDE THE 5 INTO 60 WHICH MEANS YOU WHERE GOING 12MPH If it took 60 mins (an hour) to travel 5 miles, then you'd be doing 5 miles per hour.An hour to travel 5 miles.

Snoop you've let me down mate,i thought there was gonna be a joke at the end of this. got to admire you're honesty though mate
-
Snoop i cant work out if your thick as f**k or just taking the piss as usual. As stated if you were travelling at ten miles an hour, then if you halve both numbers that makes ten mph (5 miles in 30 mins) now if you were on water well that would be nautical miles which changes everything. I await the punchline with baited breath

If my dogs been running late at night,i give them some warm milk thats been watered down half and half with water to this,i add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, and a tablespoon of honey. Its just to give them a little boost after they've been working, because obviously they can't be fed straight after running. My old man always did this ,and his dogs were always in tip top condition. As for feeding milk as part of a dogs day to day diet,i can't really see the point, and it will run the guts out of them.jmo

Thanks for the info mate,i'm pretty sure the only reason the the line isnt covered in earth is because the local kids shoot and ferret the banks of the cutting as i did as a kid. They may have had pest control fims in,but theres always been a serious rabbit problem here. When you say no passe's required on the land before the cable run, what does that mean (sorry to sound like a numpty) i thought everything within the fenced area was the railways, and if you were there side of the fence you'd be tresspassing?
-
My colliexgrey was the dog that went through the fence, its just 3 starnds of galv wire 12 inches apart and about 4 ft high.We lamped the rabbit about 30 yards from the fence, but they all go back through the fence and onto the cutting, the dog just followed, but because it was so close the rabbit didn't go to ground,it just kept going across the tracks and up the other side.

Molly did you ever get to the bottom of this, reason i ask is that i have been giving my terrier bitch evening primrose oil for the last 5 weeks (500mg capsule, every other day) and fingers and toes crossed, its the first time in 7 months she's not had any bald patche's I might start taking a few meself, and see if my hair starts growing back

Your right Wag,i could score some serious brownie points with the farmer if i sorted this, but its just red tape red tape red tape.I'll try and post some pic's,the railway cutting is riddled, and i don't think they'd want it collapsing onto the track. When we were kids,we always ferreted and shot on the railway cutting but i don't fancy the grief now.

Hope this works. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Buffalo-mini-spade-m...1QQcmdZViewItem

You'd have to be carefull of Copper Toxicosis as well,if your putting bedlington blood to bedlington blood.I've a nine month old beddyxwhippet, only use her with the ferts at the minute, but she's a great wee grafter, roll on Christmas so i can get her out in the open.

Nice afternoon,so me and the lad took the ferts and the lurcher out for a quick mooch. We decided to do one of the horse field's,but on arrival,we found the land owners wife and daughter practicing on the jumps.Decided to do some holes just inside the wood that borders the field,as i didn't like the thought of the pup hair arsing across the field with the horse's jumping close by.First bury was straightforward,we didn't net just let the ferret bolt them to the pup.3 rabbits came out and Skye (just back doing a little, after being a bit under the weather) nails the first out, after about 20 yards.

That had to be some fluke of a shot ! cant beat a bit of pork pie!!!! someones a bad judge of range, most pellets start tumbling at that range, did you have a range finder with you before you took the shot? Tumbling A .22 pellet fired from a legal limit springer, would have dropped about 4 feet after 68 yards. Then you can add windage to the equation,if its true its one almighty feckin fluke.I'm guessing you would need to aim 4 feet high and then off to one side or other to allow for any wind,to hit a feckin target the size of a penny.Like you say mate " you can't beat a bit of

I've tried mate, but nearly ended in disaster when one of the dogs went through the fence and down onto the track, its just a three wire fence.

The regulator won't allow enough pressure to open the valve in your gun.If your after a bottle adaptor and line, you'd be better off getting one second hand, but check the its still in test.I reckon a second hand 3 litre 300bar bottle, guage and line, would probably go for between £-£100,the adaptor about £15 hth's

I was thinking it might be awkward gaing permission, and your spot on,as the farmer is pissed off that the rabbits are coming off the railway in the night and helping themselves. The holes are all the railway side of the fence,so nothing i can do about it to help him.

Just wondered if anyone knows the legalities concerning pest control by the owner of land.I'm pretty sure the landowner has a legal obligation to control numbers on his land (rabbits) I shoot, ferret and run the dogs on some farm land near me.It is bordered one side by a dual carraigeway which sits on a 15ft high embankment, and on the other by a railway cutting. Now i am aware that the railway cutting is private land, but surely the owners (railtrack?) have a legal obligation to control the rabbit numbers? as the sides of the cutting are crumbling due to the rabbits burrowing, and the damage they

A clothes peg with some camera film, will sqeak them in just as well as the exotic ones.

I was out ratting with the terriers a good few years ago,a couple of rats went behind some pallets in one of the barns. We put my mates big hob down to flush them, and 2 minutes later we could here he'd caught one.The ferret came out a few minutes later in a right mess, and died 2 days later! I personally cannot stand rats, and make sure i put on gloves, boots, and an antibac hand cream, before going near them. When the terriers are finished,i always wash them on site with a diluted disinfectant.

They should brand the f*****s that steal dogs.
